Posted: 03 May 2019 12:49 PM PDT That's a game changer for small scale animation projects of animatics... simple background and a character, you can keyframe the character walk through it, you can cut to a close up on the face and animate the mouth on separate layers.. this shit is crazy! Any iPad users long-time Android users? Posted: 03 May 2019 11:37 AM PDT It's been many years since I have dabbled in iOS, and I have been tempted to get an iPad Mini 5. The small Android tablet market is pretty sad, and I have to admit that I'm a bit bored and looking for to try out iOS again. If you've moved to iOS, what has your experience been? What are the pros/cons? I'm a Googleverse guy, with my phone being Android (Pixel 2) and my other device is a Samsung Chromebook Pro. No mac or pc at home. Does iOS allow apps to manage passwords? Is LastPass allowed to autofill passwords in apps and websites? Are files difficult to manage in iOS now? Can I attach an iPad to a Chromebook or pc and access files? Can I use Google Drive to browse and backup folders? Does Google Photos run in background and run auto-backups, or is that handled manually? Does iOS have anything like Android's intents - can I share a file with any other app, or can I open a file in a file manager using whatever app I want? thanks. Edit: Part of me is concerned that I will be frustrated with iOS. Another part of me is concerned that I might like iOS too much. [link] [comments]

Apps to check condition of ipad Posted: 03 May 2019 09:13 AM PDT Hey, I'm going to buy a used iPad pro10.5 and would like your help. What to check if there is no warranty and the iPad is sold on "as it is" basis. Any apps to check the battery life pending and checking the sensors will be welcome [link] [comments]
How can I estimate the support-life of a particular model of iPad? Posted: 03 May 2019 07:47 AM PDT In 2012,i bought the third generation iPad, the "New iPad". It was great, I loved it. But somewhere around mid 2015 it started to lag to the point of not really being that exciting to me any longer, and by 2017 it stopped being compatible with new iOS updates. Now I'm in the market for a new iPad, but looking to buy used because it's just so much better of a deal. Im looking at first gen iPad Pros specifically, but the question is: how much longer will that hardware be supported? Is there a general rule of thumb for this kind of thing? Thanks! Posted: 03 May 2019 01:06 PM PDT I can't find the answer anywhere online but are they exactly the same? As in they have all the same features? I seriously doubt this... [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 May 2019 07:03 AM PDT I find Notability UI very clunky and messy. Is there anyway I can archive past notes so that it will be neat and tidy for me? Secondly, does anyone find Notability useful for viewing college textbook pdf? If no, what other apps do you recommend? [link] [comments]
Apple Keyboard Shortcut/Messages Question.. Posted: 03 May 2019 12:40 PM PDT I love using either my Apple Keyboard Folio or my Magic Keyboard with my iPad Pro - learning the shortcuts have made for a much more enjoyable/efficient experience - but, this is killing me. In messages.. I can click command+arrow up/down to go from message to message in the left pane and command+N to start a completely new message; however, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to switch to a current thread and BEGIN TYPING.. Is there something I'm missing? For instance, in safari you can click command+L to start typing in the location bar. Is there even a way to do this in messages? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 May 2019 11:17 AM PDT Is it worth getting the Apple Pencil so I can use my iPad mini for many different other things because I want to be more creative and use that to help me when I'm not home using my 2018 MacBook Pro and my follow-up question is what would be some good home devices with HomeKit that work well with having an iPad as a central hub for the technology I have in my room to be able to use it in a very productive way? Thank you in advance! [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 May 2019 09:38 AM PDT Hi everyone, I am a PhD student and I am currently working on my dissertation. My line of work compels me to review lots of scientific papers on a daily basis. In doing so, I take lots of notes with pen on the printed paper. (Mostly math and personal description of concepts). The most important feature for me is the lag-free note taking ability and reflection-free screen (matte is perfect). I was wondering if any version of the new ipads provide this ability, with apple pencil. I bought an ipad pro 10.5 two years ago without the pen and since the price was a little bit expensive and my research was not as intense, I couldn't logically jusify paying 700 dollars for it , so I returned it. I would be thankful if you could help me. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 May 2019 01:44 AM PDT Does anyone know a good iPad Pro 12.9in case that is compatible with the smart folio? I'm deploying soon and I want something that can protect my iPad for 6 months in the harsh desert lol [link] [comments]
About to travel and worried about bending my new iPad Pro. Posted: 02 May 2019 09:13 PM PDT So I bought my new iPad Pro 11" for travel back in December. I'm always super careful with my tech. I'm about to be flying and I'm worried my Smart Folio Case is not going to be enough protection. I'm thinking about getting an Otterbox Symmetry case. I just need to know when I put it in a backpack it's going to survive. Are they really as fragile as people say? [link] [comments] |
