Anybody else getting hand aches after a while using "big" iPhones? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:48 AM PST I had an iPhone X last year, "downgraded" to an 8 Plus, then again to a 6s. My hands hurt a lot since the 8 Plus, and I believe it's because the angle holding the phones (of both sizes). I was all in for big phones, but now I really hope Apple releases a 5 SE 2 this year. I regret bigger phones a bit. [link] [comments]

How to fast charge iPhone XS and Macbook 12'' at the same time Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:09 AM PST Hello! I want to clean my desk a bit and would like to ditch my USB-C hub for a USB-C charger with two ports. Aukey's charger with 2 USB-C ports is 36w only. I would like to know if this kind of charger is powerful enough to charge my Macbook 12"" and My iPhone XS at the same time, at full speed? Do you know a better product? Thank you for your help :) [link] [comments]
Question from a new iPhone user. Posted: 25 Feb 2019 11:11 PM PST I recently upgraded to the xs max and I think it's great. Just a few things are bugging me. It seems when I log into a app using my Facebook I have to try twice like all the time. The same with sharing YouTube videos on Facebook messenger. Is anyone else having this problem? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 10:56 PM PST When I turn on my iPhone, in any state, it will glitch out for half a second, with the Time indicator and text on screen glitch out and lines appear. it doesn't happen every time, but most times. is there something I can do to fix this? I bought this phone 2nd hand and it just started happening. [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Feb 2019 05:43 PM PST After a decade of android, I finally made the leap and bought myself an iPhone. Now, I've had them in the past but they were old and horrible. I was done with them in a week. I picked up a 7 Plus 128gb from Facebook and oh damn, I am in love. One thing I never liked about the iPhone was that it was small, at least when I owned one. I preferred larger screens and this one is perfect! The camera is wonderful also, definitely on par or even better than my S9. For being a phone a couple of generations behind, I don't even notice. And not having to wait for updates is a HUGE plus for me. I just wanted to sing my praises. Have a great night! [link] [comments]
Help moving video over from iPhone to MacBook Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:34 AM PST Hardware: MacBook Pro, plenty of HD space, OS X High Sierra iPhone XS Max 256GB I do some light video production and editing work for my job. Problem: Googling told me that the best way to move files from my iPhone Photos to my computer was through the Image Capture app built into OS X. Every time I try to transfer about 30 minutes worth of HD video from my iPhone to my MacBook, I get the error code "ImageCaptureCore error -9937" and the import fails. I know one option is to sync my phone with the Photos app on OS X but I don't want my phone to sync or move data back and forth all the time. I just want to be able to access my phone's hard drive and move photo and video files back and forth, like a flash drive, without having to go through a bulky app. Question: Is there an easier way to move video/photo files back and forth? Should I just cut my losses and use the Photos app on my computer? [link] [comments]

WiFi question - different networks for iOS and macOS Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:25 AM PST So, I have a noob question but I can't figure it out. My work has two Wi-Fi networks: "work," which is exclusively for IT-provisioned machines (e.g. my laptop), and "work-guest" for non-company-owned things (e.g. my iPhone). Every time I connect to "work-guest" on my phone, though, my computer also remembers and defaults to this network (because of iCloud sharing, I think). Is there any way I can get my phone to consistently connect to this network but have my MacBook Pro not remember it / automatically connect? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:17 AM PST I just wanted to say that I am just one more step away from moving to iPhone from a Pixel. I've had Androids for about 10+ years since the beginning of high school, but AT&T's iPhone XR BOGO is perfect my mother and myself. Can anyone recommend some steps I should take before purchasing an iPhone? Also any tips on how not to get screwed by AT&T? My credit score is too high to make silly mistakes. Nonetheless, I'm so excited guys! The XR will be my first ever iPhone. It'll go great with my Macbook! [link] [comments]
Phone activating seatbelt alarm Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:09 AM PST Does anybody else's XS Max set off the seat belt alarm when placed on the front passenger seat? It sets off my Equinox and my Mini's seat belt alarm. Just wondering..... [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:21 AM PST Anybody else experience this weird bug? For the fourth time since last week, when I play a YouTube video on their app, it plays at full volume. Thank goodness I wasn't using my earphones on those occasions. On all four times it happened just after unlocking the phone and playing a video on YouTube. It's not caused by accidentally pressing the volume button since I didn't have it in my pocket. I'm not using AirPlay. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:04 AM PST Hey guys! I just read an article about Samsung pre installing mcaffe malware protection onto the new s10 models. I've had a few Androids over the years and have never had a virus but I did hear of a few cases. However I've never heard of this happening on an iPhone and I've also heard that apple products tend to be impervious to viruses and malware etc... Has anyone here ever had a virus on an iPhone? Any discussion would be great thanks! [link] [comments]

Any actually free back up extractors that doesn’t have limits? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 09:40 AM PST Hey guys, I'm going nuts finding an actual free back up extractor that doesn't have limits or says I need to purchase a subscription to extract photos. I have an old iPhone back up in my iTunes that I have about 9000 photos on. All these so called "free" extractor programa I've tried does read the file and let's me extract a few photos, but I need to extract all 9000 from the back up. Are there any other easy free solutions I have out there to extract all these photos? I'm running a Mac. Any help I would greatly appreciate it! [link] [comments]
iPhone XR randomly screen flickering Posted: 26 Feb 2019 09:38 AM PST Hey, Im using an XR and since some weeks I notice that sometimes the screen is flickering in the background with small black bars. Does anyone has that problem too? It seems that it occurs when the screen changes its brightness. Unfortunately it's not really reproducable. [link] [comments]
