    My new iPad Pro 10.5” 64 GB WiFi only and UAG Metropolis Case which I got for $499 (a steal IMO) and $45 respectively. My broke student ass couldn’t afford the latest and greatest but it doesn’t matter now.

    The Gmail app just switched to the new Material design look and feel on my iPad. It must have been a server-side switch; the app itself didn't receive an update.

    iPad pro and Dropbox experience?

    Hey all, considering ipad pro for photography and videography workflow. Trying to figure out ways to get tons of files on and off the iPad quickly after shoots. Can anyone tell me what their experience with Dropbox is on the iPad pro? Is it automatic or do I have to open Dropbox and physically upload everything?

    I'm looking for a way to read pdf on my iPad. I've been using google books because it will save my place when I close and reopen the app. However I have a pdf that I know is only like 60 MB, but when I download it to my iPad, it takes up more than 2GB. Anyone else has this experience? Is it Google Books fault? It's an older iPad, I can't remember the model. I bought it new in 2014, it's a 16GB model. The model number is MH0W2LL/A if that helps.

    White Smart Folio - does it get dirty?

    I am considering purchasing the white smart folio for my 12.9" 3rd generation iPad Pro. Those who've had it since day one — what's the condition like? I'm afraid it will wear easily compared to the grey.

    Charge Apple Pencil 1st gen with Apple lightning to digital AV adapter?

    Hello. I'm wondering is it possible to charge a Apple Pencil 1st gen with the Apple lightning to digital av adapter? I hate the idea of hooking up my Apple Pencil to my iPad 9.7 2018 lightning port just to give the Pencil some quick juice.

    Here’s my setup, iPad Pro ‘17, Logitech k380 and belkin Pencil case, I use the iPad with the Pencil most of the time but when I’m studying something for a painting I writing stuff with the keyboard and I love the shortcuts too!

    Best app for working with slides (PDF) and taking notes?

    Hey! I'm a college student and recently got the iPad Pro. I've tried GoodNotes and LiquidText and I definitely see how to use them. However, none of these apps have a function that I desperately need: showing 6 PDF pages on one page

    Before I got the iPad, I printed out all the slides and put 6 pages on one DIN A4 page - then I had a small white space between those pages and that was perfect! On that white space I could take notes, draw, etc I would love to have that functionality on an iPad app too, but haven't found one yet that works this way. All of them just handle one pdf page (equals 1 slide in my case) as 1 page in the app.

    Do you know any apps which can do what I just described? If something is unclear, feel free to ask further questions!

    How much longer will my Apple Pencil Generation 1 last?

    I bought an Apple Pencil generation 1, back in March 2018, with the 2018 6th Generation iPad. It has now been a year, and it has been fabulous, so I thought I would integrate this into my life more. My iPad itself, has no issues as such, but I'm concerned about the Pencil. I've read reports that the battery gives out after a year, and that its irreplaceable.

    If this is the case, instead of replacing the Apple Pencil, I would rather go for the new iPad Pro, as it's more powerful and would probably last me a few more years, and buy the new Apple Pencil. I would HATE having to replace anything in the middle of the year, and hence, am asking this question. Replacing in the middle of the school year would mean having to export all the notes I've taken, etc etc.

    Will the Apple Pencil last me for the foreseeable two years, or should I buy the new iPad and pencil, which (I believe) will last me the next two years???
