Is this feature broken? None of my phones or iPad is automatically updating apps. I have to manually go and scroll down to pull updates. Settings are set to automatically updates apps. Sometimes I see apps that were updated 3-5 days ago.

Th only thing that works at all is safari, and only after a good long while has passed. Both devices have handoff turned on, signed into same iCloud account, have WiFi on, etc. I want to be able to use handoff, hot spot from my iPhone easily etc. This used to work fine but now just seems to not work at all. Anyone have any suggestions beyond the basic 'turn on Bluetooth ... 'etc? Thanks all

Voice memo returns me to the homescreen instead of the app itself when unlocking my phone

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 05:16 PM PST

I am using an iPhone 5S. When I lock my phone while recording, this shows up instead of the regular lockscreen when I open my phone. When I press the home button and unlock it, instead of bringing me back to the app, it brings me back to the home screen.

This is very annoying for me because to stop a recording, I need to open the app again just to do so. Is there a way I can make it return to the app when unlocking it, just like every other app?

This is how my lockscreen looks like http://imgur.com/a/iqnWEwd

How to stream video in background from a webpage on chrome for iOS?

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 12:39 PM PST

    Hey guys,

I've been having this issue for the longest time and have tried searching everywhere for help with this but have had no luck.

I'm trying to play videos in the background from webpages on my iPhone on google chrome (I actually get the same issue in safari ). To clarify, these are websites that have video streams (like for lectures).

What I do is I open the page, play the video, then close my browser window to hopefully let it play in the background while I use other apps, but the video cuts off.

There are SOME times where I can open the menu where I slide the top right corner of my screen down (flashlight button, volume slider, etc) and I hit the play button quick enough and the video runs in the background.

However, most of the time the video won't play, and the name of the video disappears on the square where the play/pause button is on the menu. When I open up the webpage to see what's going on, the video says "html5: video not encoded properly"

I was wondering if anyone had a solution for this. Any input would be highly appreciated!
