    This means the new iPad iPad Pro will be two generations ahead of the current iPad pros ( A10X --> A12X ) This iPad will have some serious power.

    Hello, I am wondering if a product like this exists and if it does can you point me in the right direction. I am looking for something like a rectangle piece of material with a carved out spot for the iPad to be cradled in that would allow for the iPad to sit flush with the surface when drawing/writing on it.

    Smart Keyboard 2.0?

    There have been rumors of a new Pencil to go along with new iPad Pro's, but I've not seen anything regarding a new Smart Keyboard cover (other then changes in size to accommodate the new iPads if necessary).

    Seeing the new Pixel Slate Keyboard has me excited for what's possible in a new Smart Keyboard.

    Trying to decide between an iPad and iPad Pro as a college student

    Hey everyone!

    I'm a freshman and doing a double major in mathematics and computer science. I currently have a 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar but I'm also looking to invest in an iPad to use as a digital note-taking device. However, I'm trying to decide between the 2018 9.7" iPad or waiting for the next-generation iPad Pro. Note: I want the iPad to supplement my MBP, not replace it. What should I do?

    PS. The 120Hz display's benefits for the Apple Pencil are negligible (in terms of real world usage). I wrote on a previous generation iPad Pro next to one that has ProMotion and couldn't discern the lag for the life of me. However, the 10.5" iPad Pro's display did look gorgeous.

    Is a bigger iPad Pro worth it just for pen annotation and highlighting? Or does newer technology mitigate writing on the smaller iPads?

    I used to have an Adonit with my iPad 4 for writing, annotating and highlighting stuff. However, this felt like a chore at times because of the smaller screen because I needed to zoom in, or with Notability, write on the zoomed-in portion.

    I'm back in the market again for more digital scribbling, and I'm looking at the bigger iPad Pro because of this past experience. However, does the more entry-level iPad provide a better writing experience thanks to new technology? Or is zooming still needed?

    iPad Pro on iOS 12 can’t send text messages today

    I've been able to send text messages on my iPad just fine with the update until today, where it doesn't send. I'm on good wifi, and my send and receive are both set to my phone number. I've reset the iPad and quit the message app but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

    [Question] Desktop Mode Browser?

    Hello!

    I'm absolutely loving my 10.5 iPad Pro. It's seriously one of the greatest devices I've ever owned and I now use it constantly for just about everything. The one issue I'm having with it, though, is that there are some websites that just refuse to be opened in desktop mode (or whatever it's called). This is annoying for me because there are one or two websites that I absolutely, unequivocally need to use to do my job and they don't have the functionality that I need on the mobile site.

    Anyone know of a browser that spoofs being a non-mobile device? Or am I basically just SOL on this front?

    At this point, it's gotten to the point where I'm considering switching to a Surface Go or the new Pixel Slate when it comes out...

    Hi, I'm going to buy an iPad and I have to choose between an iPad 2018 and the iPad Air 2. The iPad 2018 has the better hardware but from what I've seen on reviews the screen has too much reflection compared to the Air. I'm I right or this isn't that much of a deal ?

    I use Safari on my iPad. I don't go anywhere dangerous or shady or NSFW. I'm an informed web user and don't click on ads or search results from questionable URL's.

    And yet, I've been getting a lot of those pesky Amazon pop ups and a few other redirects. Clearing the cache only helps for a day or two, and it happens again.

    I know that clearing the cache and using an ad blocker are the recommended solutions, but I'm tired of logging back into everything after I clear the cache, and I prefer to not block the ads that the websites I frequent depend on for survival.

    So, are they are any other solutions? Or do I have to pick between almost daily cache clearing and/or ad blockers?

    Is there any reason to not get a 1st gen 12.9” iPad Pro?

    It seems like a perfectly cromulent tablet.

    I'm looking to get the bigger screen but I'm also looking to save a buck or two.

    (And I'll be avoiding the 32 gb model, so no worries there.)

    The only high-powered thing I'd be running is Civ 6 for iPad.

    Can I charge the Apple Pencil on my notebooks type-C USB?

    It is a Lenovo (windows) laptop and it has a type-c USB (not thunderbolt/lightning, just a simple type-c). Can I use it to charge the Apple Pencil or only lightning ports are compatible?

    Just got an IPad a few days ago to replace my kindle tablet. I wish I had bought one years ago, tbh. My only complaint is the “thinking circle”, next to the WiFi indicator, is constantly active when watching videos and the battery drains when this is happening. Background refresh is off. Any ideas?

    Is there any way to view Flash Player-based content on an iPad? I'm in need of a tablet/2-in-1 that can handle some basic business work-tasks, and would like to stay within the Apple ecosystem along with my iPhone, and my slowly dying MacBook Pro. Mainly, my timesheet is online and is Flash Player based. I know Safari doesn't use Flash, but I know that there are other browsers outside of Safari. Thank you!
