I hear a lot of people prefer 4K SDR, with Match content on, opposed to 4K HDR.

Any idea why this is? Is it because 4K HDR is too bright in the menus, and not needed to be enabled when viewing regular SDR content?

Please help! I can't open any apps

I tried everything, restarting,checking connection.I just got it and can't set it up to open anything I can only air play something off my iPhone onto it, it says nothing is downloaded onto it.When I try to open something to download it it just starts up a loading screen that lasts forever

Top Shelf Missing Artwork AppleTV 4k

Hi does anyone else have this issue .. on My (2) AppleTV 4K's when I select the icon for Computers on the Home screen recently watched TV shows don't appear on the top shelf. If I go in and select Movies and return to the Home screen they do appear and work fine. I have rebooted, made a new iTunes Library and all the other usual troubleshooting. It's only on the Top Shelf on the Home screen. The artwork is fine if I navigate into the menu/show listings. I am assuming it's the 4K versions only because I have (2) 3rd generation and (2) 4th generation that all show the artwork just fine.

Amazon Prime Video Doctor Who - Season 10 - Episode 10 - The Eaters of Light

At approximately 31:45 into the video there is a monster in a cairn. The monster should be clearly heard growling and making other noises. You should also be able to hear weapons impacting it.

On my setup - with surround sound - I don't hear these things at all. The only way I can hear them is on my iPhone or if I force stereo on the Apple TV.

Random black screens

My latest generation ATV sometimes flashes a black screen for ~3 seconds and then returns to wherever I left off. It happens on all apps - Netflix, Photos, etc.

I have the recommended Belkin HDMI cable with settings set to 4K HDR and Chroma to 2.2.2.

Anyone encountered this issue?

IOS Apple TV Remote app doesn't see ATV

I installed the remote app on my iPhone 8+. When I open it it goes right to a screen that says "Cant see your Apple TV ?" Then something about making sure they are are same wifi. The iPhone is paired with the ATV and shows up as a paired device on the settings of the ATV. One thing I'm wondering .... my ATV has a hardwired ethernet connection so is not officially on a wifi network. Is this the problem ? Any way around it ?

Screensaver shows same pics?

So, I have two apple TVs and both were cycling through the same pictures from my photos when set to my"favorites" for screen saver. There are thousands of pics so shouldn't be same ones. Called Apple and they had me check a box in home sharing of iTunes and that seemed to do trick for one of boxes (still not sure why as I'm not doing photos through home sharing but whatever). The bedroom unit is still cycling through same pics. Any thoughts on a fix?
