Need help with these issues on Mojave Public Beta.

    Posted: 28 Jun 2018 01:36 AM PDT

    I have MBP 13" 2012 Non-Retina with 10.14 Beta (18A314k) installed.

    • Sound is not working at all on any app or browser. I cant open System preferences sound settings, because it just freezes there and I have to force quit.

    • I cant open google (and many other sites) on Safari! When I click text field it freezes, have to force quit. Same with Youtube.

    • PhotoBooth and iTunes are not opening either.

    • Siri is just dead.

    • Startup is 1.6x slower than High Sierra.

Cant install the new OSX 10.14 beta on a mac pro 2012?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2018 12:06 PM PDT

So I got one of them 2012 17inch mac book pros that I have had for ever now and apparently I cannot install it on my mac book pro?

This version of macOS 10.14 cannot be installed on this computer.

Mine is the 17 inch model released in June or there abouts, its the aluminum body one Listed devices supported. My mac mini from 2012 got the update but apparently my mac book pro can't or doesn't?

How to prevent MacOS applications from changing icon?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2018 04:57 AM PDT

So I changed the icon for applications on my Mac, such as Google Chrome. However every once in a while, the Chrome icon decides to change back to its original by itself. I was wondering if there was any way to prevent this from happening. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Mojave Beta - Screen Sharing Gone?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2018 01:34 PM PDT

Before if I launched Spotlight, I could type Screen Sharing and launch the App. I also believe it was located in the Utilities folder but it's no longer there. Is it gone for good?

Can you make macOS emulate Gnome window management?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2018 09:18 AM PDT

I've been using Gnome 3 for a couple of years and really got used to it's way of doing things. macOS has a lot of similarities, but enough differences to disrupt my muscle memory work flow.

For example, in Gnome 3 CMD-~ will switch workspaces where macOS won't. Stuff like that. Anyone been down this road?
