    The most underrated iPhone feature

    As a begrudging yet satisfied android convert. I have to say the most underrated feature on my iPhone X is the haptic feedback. The only android that comes close is the S9. Even that is still far off.

    It's night and day better than any of the competitors.

    Has anyone else found that the iPhone 8 screen scratches very easily compared to other Apple devices?

    I've had my iPhone 8 for about six months now and in that time it's managed to get about four significant, deep scratches around the screen as well as a few noticeable shallower scratches too.

    I've been using it completely normally and have never noticed these scratches happening after a drop or something. They've just appeared on separate occasions after normal daily use.

    I had my old iPhone 6 for three years and not once did it scratch significantly, and even micro-scratches were barely noticeable by the time I was done with it. I didn't use a screen protector with my 8 after how well my 6 did without a screen protector for so long, and yet my 8 has scratched so much in just six months and I can't understand why.

    I've compared the screen to family members who are using 6S's and 7's and none of them seem to have similar scratching.

    Does anyone know why the 8 might be having more issues or is it just bad luck?

    Hey everyone.

    I have an iPhone SE now which I like a lot for its value & its looks.

    I recently got a discount for the iPhone 8 Plus & I'm thinking if I should upgrade?

    Nothing is wrong with the SE & I really don't mind the 4" screen much, but I'm only worried that it won't last long in the future cos I plan to use my phone until at least December 2019 before upgrading again.

    Any opinions would be lovely!

    Does Apple update iOS if I take it in for a battery replacement?

    I'm on iOS 10.3.3 on my iPhone 6 Plus and wanted to take it in for a battery replacement. I was wondering if they would update it before they give it back to me? I wanted to stay on 10.3.3 until 12 is out of beta.

    Haptic feedback click, iPhone X

    Once in a while, my vibration motor made a clicking sound when it vibrated. This is happening less frequently now, but now, when I 3D touch certain parts of my screen in some apps like Instagram, I get the click consistently. This only happens on certain, fixed parts of the screen, and it does not occur when I 3D touch the same part of the screen on my springboard. Then I get a normal sound... Very weird. Does someone have the same problem? I'm on iOS 11.4

    Just installed iOS 12 Public Beta yesterday and checked in the Settings, couldn't found Restrictions, I guess Apple moved it to Screen Time option under Settings.

    Need help troubleshooting iphone

    Im not a heavy apple user but my mom's iPhone is having trouble. Her iPhone 6s is running the latest public firmware and is on a verizon plan. Whenever we are in certain areas, like inside one particular store, if she answers a call she can't hear the caller and the caller can't hear her. I don't know if it's a reception issue because I tested it with my phone and my phone can hear incoming calls. Her phone is probably out of warranty so im stumped on what she should do. Her battery health is still at 88% and she bought the phone on release so it's still doing pretty well

    Music streaming contest * CASH PRIZE *

    Who can stream the most music in the next week? I am a PR person from OurTube a mobile streaming service for IOS. I have been instructed to make a post here saying who ever can stream the most music from our app will win 1k dollars and be able to decide the next album of the week for an entire month. The person with the largest group playlist will receive 2k and be able to skype with the developers to give feedback on the app. If you are interested in trying to out stream your peers , simply download the app and start streaming the rules are simple :

    1. All your songs streamed are linked to your account , so you must use only one account.
    2. No Afk. We want this to be an enjoyable contest for all members involved.
    3. Group playlist members must be active and contribute at least one edit to the group playlist ( this is to prevent people creating spam accounts )
    4. Have fun ( cliche but necessary )

    Using iPhone Hotspot with Apple TV & AirPlay, and how it shows on AT&T data?

    Hello, I'm curious if anyone knows the answer to this. I do not have internet at home & currently use my iPhone hotspot for my laptop, streaming, etc. I have AT&T and I'm thinking about switching to an unlimited data plan, however the plan I would be going to has a mobile hotspot limit of 15gb per device.

    My question is... if I am using my iPhone Hotspot to connect the Apple TV to my iPhone WiFi, and I steam Netflix on my iPhone & use AirPlay mirroring to play it from my phone onto the Apple TV, would this use just Mobile data since it's streaming from the device itself & not from the Apple TV? Or would it actually use the mobile hotspot data?
