| all of my open safari tabs disappeared Posted: 28 Jun 2018 06:22 PM PDT okay reddit i'm unorganized as hell and used to have easily like.. 50+ open tabs in safari on my iphone and always forgot to bookmark/put them in reading list/whatever because i'm dumb and kept forgetting that was even an option. a few days back i opened up safari and every tab was gone. i tried looking in my history and only some tabs showed up (and of course the important ones didn't lol) so i bookmarked the tabs i was able to find in my history but am still wondering if there's something i can do to recover my full history or something similar to find the websites i had open again or if i'm just screwed. i have an iphone 7plus and my ios is up to date :/ this is my first post so hopefully i worded everything correctly lol. | Reverting to Previous App Version Posted: 28 Jun 2018 06:17 PM PDT Hello all. I'm looking to revert to Reddit 4.9.3 since I'm experiencing a ton of crashes with the latest version. I've looked online and found no places where I can download. I've also tried looking in the "Moblie Applications" folder on my computer but the only version I have in there is 2.x.x. I'm not jailbroken so I can't use AppAdmin. Does anyone know where I could find older versions? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 28 Jun 2018 05:18 PM PDT While watching a video on my phone through YouTube, the video would pause and the volume would change and then play again, and soon after I heard the sound of someone ending a video, the literal sound of the camera application stopping a recording. My screen would go black whenever I covered the mic. I don't really think someone is spying me, but I want to know what was going on. I restarted my iPhone (5s) and all problems went away. P.s. I was using earbuds to watch to watch the video I don't know if that means anything. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 28 Jun 2018 05:03 PM PDT I'm sorry if this is a super dumb question, but I tried googling and found no answers. So my (replacement, refurbished) new phone was restarting over, and over, and over and over. It would turn on and off and on incessantly restarting and crashing. I contact Apple Support, they ran diagnostics, and said it was a software problem, not a hardware problem. My phone company sent me (yet another) refurbished replacement phone. I just want to know what constitutes as software on the phone? Is the SIMCard hardware or software? I want to know so I can hopefully prevent this extremely frustrating and annoying problem from ever happening again. [link] [comments]  |

I wanted to double check; now that I've backed it up, can I delete all the photos on her phone to clear up storage and then, in the future, if I ever want to, import all the photos from my computer back into her phone? [link] [comments]  |
| I dropped my iphone 6s in water Posted: 28 Jun 2018 10:04 AM PDT So, yesterday I was fishing. I slipped and fell into the lake with my phone in my pocket playing music. I immediately took it out and tried shutting if off the best I could, and then used a dry, clean rag to wipe it off and left it in the rag in the hot car. After about 7 or 8 hours, my mom texted me and it turned on, and it seemed ok (though the home button is a bit sticky). I worked just fine all night. I'm on a farm in the middle of nowhere. The nearest phone store is 1.5 hours away (and it's not even my provider). I don't have dry rice or anything like that. So, I left it unplugged by a fan until bedtime, and I had it charging next to me all night. I woke up to the alarm I set up on it this morning, and it worked until I left it alone for a half hour, came back, and it wouldn't even respond to me holding down the power and home button. I noticed condensation in the lenses that wasn't there before, so now I have it laying down, unplugged by a fan. The condensation is slowly going away. We have bad weather on the way, and I still have work to do, so a mobile hotspot/ working phone is kind of needed. Anyways, anything helps. I've sort of accepted that my phone may be screwed. My mom had it before me, and she dropped it in water over a year ago, and the mic stopped working (so I used my earbuds every time I made a call). My mom said she'd help me get a new one when I get home, but home is 2 weeks away. I think it may just be screwed, but if there's any hope, let me know. :D EDIT: if anyone is wondering how I posted this. I'm currently using a sketchy network off of a friend's phone.
