    This was one of my favorite firmwares to be jailbroken on, just second to 5.1.1. Sadly, iOS 7 was where full system themes ended, but there was so much to do on this version. What did you guys enjoy about the 7.1.1 JB? Do you wonder if Pangu is ever gonna release another?

    Does anyone else remember this jailbreak out of the blue? I remember being on vacation in Florida and not having WiFi so I jailbroke my phone by hiding under my neighbors truck and using their WiFi with my laptop. This jailbreak always brought good memories to me.

    Q: I am on 11.2.x(or 11.3), but Coolstar keeps saying 11.3.1. Will I be able to jailbreak?

    A: Yes, this jailbreak will support all iOS 11.X firmwares except for 11.4 and 11.4.1.

    Q: Coolstar and Pwn20wnd keep saying the jailbreak is finished, but they don't release. Why?

    A: We are waiting on the stable rootFS remount patch to come from a developer, whose name I will not say because I do not want everyone going to him asking "wen eta." Spark Zheng already released a remount fix, but it is "pretty unusable" according to Coolstar. We are waiting on this other developer to finish working on VFS stability, and then he will likely release it alongside the stable remount patch.

    Q: Why are the devs teasing us but not releasing anything?

    A: They are showing that the jailbreak works, and it will soon work for all of us. We just need to be patient, we don't need to ask for anything, and we don't need to bother the developers. They will notify us when the jailbreak is out, and it will most likely be on the "Hot Posts" tab in this subreddit within seconds.

    Q: I don't have blobs, but I'm on 11.4. Can I downgrade to jailbreak?

    A: No, it is no longer possible to downgrade to a jailbreakable firmware.

    Alternate answer if you have blobs: Even if you have blobs and you are on 11.4, you cannot downgrade as you have to be on an exploitable firmware to utilize futurerestore.

    Q: "Wen eta?"

    A: Shut up, leave this reddit, we don't want or need you. You only hinder this jailbreak.

    [Question] About the rootfs remount needed to jailbreak

    So this is my understanding of the scene so far. Everything is done with the jailbreak besides the rootfs remount that is needed in order to read/write for the jailbreak and make sure that no tweaks/data gets deleted when you accidentally restart your phone. Especially even adding extra features such as sound (which is causing many people to be pissed; as well as the constant teasing of the finished jailbreak, the workable tweaks, and how the electra team continues to show off their working jailbreak).

    Also, there are multiple 0day remounts out there (3 by my count?; Electra Teams, Morpheus, and sparkzheng) but the electra team is waiting for either Morpheus or Sparkzheng to release their 0day. However, Morpheus sternly states that he is not a part of the electra team (probably arising from the constant spam of his twitter, which people should stop). Morpheus and the electra team are waiting for ios 12 to release their 0day.

    If this is the case and there are potentially 3 0days out there that can solve the rootfs remount for the jailbreak. Couldn't the electra team just use their 0day and then wait for the others to release their 0day on ios 12, especially when an exploit/bug might not be found for ios 12 to create a jailbreak? Or is there something else?

    EDIT: So Sparkzheng has released his remount, but it is unstable. So Morpheus is working to improve it and incorporate it into the LiberiOS. The Electra Team is waiting for this chance to save their 0day for ios 12, for electra. Morpheus is also saving his 0day for ios 12, for LiberiOS. Makes a lot more sense now. Thanks everyone.

    [Tip] What I Did to Get Scothman 15.2.1 & Snapchat 10.34.1 Working Perfectly

    After upgrading and receiving a 12 hour ban, I tried a second time but went about things more methodically. As a result, the latest Snapchat (10.34.1), Scothman (15.2.1) and Liberty (0.2.9) is working perfectly for me on Yalu 10.2.

    The steps I took: 1. Disable Snapchat detection-blocking in Liberty 2. Uninstall Snapchat and any related tweaks 3. Run iCleaner 4. Reboot and install Snapchat in non-jailbroken state 5. Run Snapchat, login, then kill it 6. Re-jailbreak 7. Enable Snapchat detection-blocking in Liberty 8. Install latest Scothman

    As stated, it's working perfectly for me, so it's worth a shot.

    [Request] Tweak Request For Sleeping Properly !!!

    Alright this may or may not be a good idea for tweak. Hear me out on this

    I was wondering is it possible to create a tweak that would basically disable all functionality of the iPhone once it hits a certain time of night and it enables it back when you wake up to your alarms or designated time .

    . The only thing that this should allow is incoming phone calls or emergency calls. And maybe add a safety pin/fingerprint feature to enable the device or something I guess.

    The purpose of this tweak would be help people who've been addicted to their phones in bed at night and don't realize what time it is, and end up watching random recommended YouTube videos at 3am in the morning.

    Please don't downvote me, I understand if this may be a ridiculous request as it may not be realistically a big issue for people.

    [Question] Does just having a jailbroken phone with no tweaks decrease battery life?

    Hello all

    I am positive that based on what others in here have said, jailbreaks don't drain battery but he tweaks you install are the culprits in the battery draining.

    I just have a quick question, and that is wether having a phone just in a fresh jailbroken state with no packages installed can possibly have a negative impact on a battery drain with only the key packages needed to start the tweak running?

    [Question] Have we seen anything besides a kppless jb in iPhone 7 and up?

    I don't recall ever seeing a more traditional kpp (or whatever it's called for newer phones) bypass within any jailbreak, even demoed by security teams. Will there ever be a future with these types of jailbreaks again? Or is it pretty much completely dead?

    [Discussion] A Polis only theming engine. Is it a good idea?

    I have been working on the new Polis Jailbreak and thinking I should add a theming engine. I can't use Anemone and I'd much rather make my own engine then update (attempt to) Winterboard. Should I work on a theming engine or would you rather just wait for Electra?

    [Question] Help With Errors on the Helix 32 bit Jailbreak for 10.3.3

    Anytime i try to install anything from Cydia after a fresh jailbreak and only a few things installed before that (Filza, Cydia Eraser, MTerminal, etc..) i consistantly get an error for a sub process. The error - Sub-process /usr/libexec/cydia/cydo returned an error code (1) Does anybody know a fix for this persistant and verry annoying error?

    [question] Apple Carplay Jailbreak

    Sorry if this is a noob question but currently I have an old iphone 5s that is on 11.2 and im looking to install an app that lets you use any app in your car. (Id like to use youtube and sky go)

    It's kind of hard to sift through all the fake information out there that tells you that you can jailbreak 11.2 when people still say you can't.

    From looking through twitter I can see that we are super close to being able to jailbreak 11.2, is this correct? Or is there already a way? Thanks
