I decided to look it up and it seems like the App Store is using 65-75% of my battery time with only 2 minutes screen time. | iPhone X battery/time icon glitch? Posted: 09 Apr 2018 02:25 AM PDT Hey r/iPhone, last week I finally received my iPhone X (switching from a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge) and I really, really like it. There is only one small thing that bothers me. Everytime I open a new app the time changes to 15:16 and the battery icon changes to an almost empty battery for +/- 2 seconds. After that it changes back to the current time/correct battery percentage. Is this an already known problem or does someone know how to fix this? It will end up being submerged there for about 10 hours as we can't get to it (dive down) till morning. Will it be totally dead? Wondering if its worth it to get it or not. I noticed that significant locations, found in Settings>Privacy>Location>System Services>Significant Locations, seems to always be using my location. I keep data turned on, and I think that this would use a significant amount of battery. It says it is useful in apps such as email and photos, but can anyone actually verify this? If it doesn't actually do anything, or if the same functions can be provided without it turned on, I would be very happy to know. Thank you so much. [link] [comments]  |
