    If you have/are about to get either iPhone 8 or X, I insist on getting a wireless charger

    Wireless charging wasn't really a feature I expected to get excited about. I had my iPhone X for about 2-3 months before I bought one myself. Now I can't imagine not having one.

    My battery feels like it has infinite power because I have the charger on my desk where I always place my phone when I don't use it at home. After several months of doing so, there has been no extra tear on the battery even if I take it on and off from the wireless charger all the time. By doing this, I practically always have 100% when I grab my phone to go somewhere and it lasts longer than it takes for me to get back.

    I can probably count the times I have plugged a lightning cable in to charge it on one hand. I don't even think about charging anymore. If you have one of these devices that supports it, I insist that you try it for yourself!

    I frequently see pics and think I'd like that as my lock or home screen! I go to set it and then the auto crop messes it up. Is there a tip/hack to have the wallpaper not be cropped?

    Spotify randomly pauses

    When I get a snap it always pauses but it can pause for no reason at all. Sometimes when I press play it pauses instantly after that.

    Anyone else with this problem? It's really infuriating.

    This is ridiculous, but I'm having the hardest time finding a good case for my iPhone X that isn't made of silicone. I've bought four, all claiming to be made of different materials but all have the horrible texture of silicone (like the official Apple silicone case!) I just cannot stand how it feels.

    Up until now I've had the official Apple leather case. Which is fine, but I have it in pink and the leather has basically gone a disgusting colour and looks shit. Are the darker colours more durable? I wouldn't mind the price tag, as long as it lasts!

    Any recommendations for other brands?

    Need a new iPhone, trying to decide which to get

    I currently have a 6 that's still stuck on iOS 10 and refuses to update. It's time for a new one. I know this is petty but I just bought nice headphones and I want a 6S primarily for the headphone jack. How bad of an idea is that? Will my phone be too slow to function? Any advice appreciated.     Questions about iPhone X before I buy

    So I'm thinking about buying an iPhone X. I have a few questions about it.

    Can I use a password instead of Face ID?

    Is 2GB data a month enough for someone who only lightly browses the internet on their phone or do I need to go for 8GB?

    Does the iPhone X definitely beat the iPhone 8?

    UPDATE: Thanks for all the replies. I have one more question. Does iPhone X have a notes app? I use NotePad on my Android all the time so this is important to me.

    Lag/Freezing on Widget Screen - iPhoneX

    Ever since the new 11.3 update, I have had intermittent lag/freezes/stutters when swiping over to my widgets. Anyone else experiencing this particular issue? Has never happened until 11.3 so I am thinking it may be a compatibility issue w/ one of the apps/widgets, but it is hard to figure out which one since I can't scroll through them.

    Fortnite poor performance iPhone 7

    I'm just wondering if there are some options to customize the graphics in fortnite for iOS, this because i find it almost unplayable, the framerate feels like 20 fps..

    My iPhone 6 has been acting weird since updating to iOS 11.3, please help!

    I have an iPhone 6 128 GB. Since I've updated to iOS 11.3, my phone is shutting down unexpectedly which is severely affecting me - the other day, it switched off abruptly while I was on an important call.

    • Plenty of storage space left
    • Never tinkered with the phone, No jailbreaking, no unnecessary app downloads
    • Cannot replicate the issue, that is, there is no definite action/app which is causing this.
    • Battery health (which is what I was suspecting) is actually pretty fine. No performance throttling enabled. Battery is original, never changed. Under Battery Health option, it says your battery is currently supporting normal peak performance

    What do I do? What are my options? Would going to Apple Store help? (I'm way out of any warranty etc though)

    iTunes Library

    Has anyone found a decent app to cleanup their iTunes library? My original library started with approximately 2000 mp3s when iPods first hit the market and now I estimate it to be in the range of 5-6000 songs. I tried using tuneup on my MacBook, but it was a complete fail. Now I have mixed album art and roughly 3000 duplicate songs. They seem to have stopped updating it awhile ago.

    Should I wait to buy an iPhone 7?

    I'm thinking of making a transition from Android > iPhone. I'm eyeing the iPhone 7 32GB, which is priced at $549 on Apple's website. Do you guys expect the 7 to drop in price in the next few months before/around the time the next gen versions are released? How much would I be saving by waiting?

    Someone should make a game similar to 1 2 Switch

    1 2 Switch took advantage of the Nintendo Switch's Joycons' HD Rumble. Mini games like sneaky dice felt immersive and it nearly felt real.

    I'm surprised there aren't that many games on the App Store that takes advantage of the Taptic Engine, or deeply implements it. It IS pretty underrated as well, with its precise haptic feedback.

    Not getting notification for text from only one contact (DND turned off)

    The last few days I've not received an alert for a text specifically from my wife. As anyone married knows, it is vital to get this fixed. I made sure I don't have alerts hidden for this conversation, and do not disturb is not on.

    It is also inconsistent. When I have the phone on and looking at something I do not get alert, but when the screen is off I do get some of the alerts. I also have an Apple Watch and the notifications are inconsistent with that. I've been deleting large images and videos from the conversation, thinking it was a storage issue but that hasn't helped.

    Anyone had an issue like this before?
