Apple Watch It’s been a long day my friends. |
- It’s been a long day my friends.
- TIL that tapping the charging symbol in Nightstand Mode shows the battery percentage
- A beautiful day for a hike!
- Looks like I need to quit my job this month in order to achieve my April challenge!!
- On Jan 1, 2016 I weighed 290lbs. Over the course of 2016 I lost 98lbs, and since then I’ve managed to keep the weight off, but I’ve lacked motivation to get to my 175lbs goal weight. Got the AW on April 1 in hopes it would motivate me... it seems to be working.
- 500 days
- Love my new Apple Watch Band. Cosmos Blue Leather Loop. Should be £150 from Apple but picked it up unused, still sealed in its box for £80 on eBay.
- Life hack for people who use the dock a lot
- Is changing bands frequency going to wear out the mechanism?
- Runners, what app do you use?
- I recently bought my apple watch is there a way to see how fast I was going?
- A couple of questions from a long time Fitbit user who just recently converted.
- Anyone know when/if Three mobile (uk) will support cellular?
- Picked up the Midnight Fog Sport Loop to go with my Space Gray Watch. The combo looks great!
- This my friends, is why I love marching band.
- I got a serie 3 cellular Apple Watch? Really like it, and my love for Original Pebble is intact.
- When I tap near the watch the screen turns on is this part of the new 4.3 update
- Favourite Apple Watch straps/bands.
- 4,000 calories! I say that was a good day.
- Apple Watch S3 vs Rolex Submariner. Great comparison without the typical “Apple Watch is not a real watch” snobbery.
- How do you motivate yourself to close the rings?
- Anyone mix and match?
- Picked up one of the last Midnight Blue Sport Bands in NY. Coming from a Midnight Fog Sport Loop. Love both combos.

Life hack for people who use the dock a lot Posted: 08 Apr 2018 06:04 AM PDT I use the dock a lot because it's a nice way to group useful applications. However, it can be annoying to scroll through all of the different options. This morning I realized something: I could create a modular watch face with a complication for each dock app, and then place the new watch app "adjacent" to my primary watch face. This way I can easily swipe to the modular watch face and launch any app with a single tap. As an added bonus, the apps on the modular watch face launch instantly after swiping. This is because they are in the dock, and are therefore already loaded into RAM. Here is an example showing my own watch:
I'm not sure if something like this has been posted before, but I figured that I should share. [link] [comments]
Is changing bands frequency going to wear out the mechanism? Posted: 08 Apr 2018 08:04 AM PDT I have a Nike + Apple Watch series 3, and I love it. I really love the rubber sports band it came with. I have a brown leather band I wear at work during the day, and in the evening I like to switch back to the nike band. Is switching the band this often going to wear anything out? Posted: 08 Apr 2018 07:33 AM PDT I am a long time Garmin watch user for running. I've been using my Apple Watch for a while but I am not as convinced as when I used the Garmin. I train quite frequently and currently use the Strava watchOS app. First of all because I use Strava to track my runs and because the other apps are not as good. I have used Workouts++ and I like it a lot because it's highly customizable but is a pain to try to export the activity and then upload it to Strava. I've seen that there are some third party apps that let you do this but most of them require you to pay for a subscription service and I am not happy to have to pay to do it. The stock Workouts app it's more of the same but less customizable. What I have also missed is a way to be notified when you reach certain time/distance when doing interval training as the Garmin does, I don't know if there's an app that does this also. My question is, does anyone have the same problems and knows a way to solve this? [link] [comments]

A couple of questions from a long time Fitbit user who just recently converted. Posted: 08 Apr 2018 07:04 AM PDT In advance, thank you to all who help me out on this! Firstly I am used to a daily step goal, however there doesn't seem to be a way to setup one in the health app. Is there a way? Second, is it me or does this calculate calories burned way differently? Most days With the Fitbit I could easily hit 2000 and with the AW I struggle to hit 1000. Any other suggestions that previous Fitbit users had would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again! When I tap near the watch the screen turns on is this part of the new 4.3 update Posted: 08 Apr 2018 03:35 AM PDT So the watch is charging on the stand and I tap anywhere like the table or anywhere near the watch stand and the screen turns on. Is this new in WatchOS 4.3? [link] [comments]
Favourite Apple Watch straps/bands. Posted: 08 Apr 2018 02:31 AM PDT What is everyone's favourite strap/band. If you can, please provide links or images. My favourite is the Silver Milanese Loop on my space grey series 2. [link] [comments]

How do you motivate yourself to close the rings? Posted: 08 Apr 2018 12:16 AM PDT I got my first AW S3 4 months ago and I don't seem to care about closing the rings as much as everybody here does. I mainly use it for notifications & music streaming with my AirPods. I'd really love to use it to keep track of my weight but I don't seem to be as excited as some people here to close the rings. How do you guys motivate yourself? [link] [comments]
