The scrubbing is nothing short of a bad joke. The entire thing is an epic fail. We're watching what happens when companies get too big. | Posted: 07 Apr 2018 02:05 PM PDT Just out of the blue my ATV4 (non 4K version) seems to be dead. There is no light indicator to show that it is on. No image at all on TV screen. I've tried disconnecting the power cord, removing the HDMI cable, and then reconnecting them after a short time. Nothing. Tried it on a different TV with a different HDMI cable, as well as with a different official Apple TV power cord. Again, no joy. The ATV4 unit feels slightly warm to the touch, so at least it is getting fed power. But, as I say, it's pretty much a brick in its current state. So, any ideas, suggestions? This was bought back in Oct, 2016. Pretty sure the warranty period is now over. [link] [comments]  |

| AMC app worked fine a week ago, now will not activate (on xfinity) Posted: 07 Apr 2018 03:24 PM PDT I used the AMC app one week ago to watch the Terror episode 2 without incident. I launch it today to watch episode 3 and it wants me to activate the app again. Ok whatever. I get my iPad out, go to amc.com/activate, enter the code, pick xfinity and log in to xfinity, which then has the page telling me I am good to go, but the AMC app activation screeen does not change at all. Tried a new code a couple times, tried deleting AMC app and reinstalling, but no luck, entering the code and logging in to xfinity never gets past the amc activation screen. | 4K appletv will not connect to wireless network Posted: 07 Apr 2018 05:30 PM PDT I've had the unit for about two months. Problems started two weeks ago, it wouldn't connect to my network. I unplugged it, restarted it, reset it, with no luck. It saw my wireless network but wouldn't connect. When I plugged in a wireless Ethernet bridge, it worked just fine. Did that today and updated the unit. Still won't connect wirelessly. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]  |

I turned on content matching on the ATV and it causes the picture to go out and come back in, as if it's resetting. | Freezes when other devices are turned on Posted: 07 Apr 2018 08:19 PM PDT Not sure if it's an issue with the tv (vizio)or the Apple TV. It's a 4k, and while watching video, if I turn on my PS4 that is on another hdmi input (not changing inputs, still watching Apple TV) the video freezes. I can back out and go to the menu, but I can't have the Apple TV play video while the PS4 is powered on. Any settings I need to look into on the Apple side? [link] [comments]  |
| Apple TV Remote App Doesn’t See My Apple TV Posted: 07 Apr 2018 12:18 PM PDT I've been on the latest betas for the past few weeks and my iPhone's remote app never sees either of my Apple TVs. Everything is connected to the same network, one Apple TV is connected by Ethernet. I have an IPhone X. I've deleted the remote app and nothing. Ive deleted my iPhone from the Apple TV and reconnected it; it would start working then stop. I've reset the Apple TVs and it worked for a bit then stopped working. Is there something I'm missing?
