Set in a zombie apocalyptic setting where you can build and upgrade safehouses, train, scavenge, fight other players, trade and do a bunch of other cool stuff. I built it to be fully browser based lets you play from any device with a web browser for free, no downloads or personal details required! Test out Zapoco by using Username: test123 and password: test123 I've been working incredibly hard over the past few months on this, and am very proud of what I've been able to accomplish with it, and I hope for some of you to be able to play it and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! | Looking for games/puzzles that don't need any Internet access Posted: 02 Mar 2018 07:59 PM PST I'm helping my mother-in-law, who is trying to help her friend, Jan. She has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. The sessions have been very unpleasant for her. When my MIL let Jan use her iPad it distracted her enough she could eat and keep food down. My in laws want to get Jan a used iPad to help with her future sessions. The catch is the iPad will likely never be connected to the Internet after its initial setup. Jan doesn't have Internet at home and is the opposite of tech savvy. I know there are free Wi-Fi options available, but I have been told not to depend on them. I'm looking for puzzles and easy games which will work without any Internet access after install, so nothing which needs to call home or an ads server. I'm fine with paid games, preferable on the cheap. Jan loved my MIL's jigsaw puzzle app and I was told to get a crossword puzzle app. Nothing that involves a lot of reading or precise coordination. I'm combing through the App Store this weekend but thought I'd crowd source this a bit, too. | Talisman base game gone from App Store? Posted: 03 Mar 2018 09:05 AM PST So I own Talisman, the base game, for my iPhone. It's the blue icon one. Not Horus Heresy. Or Talisman Prologue. And not Talisman Lite. Lol. Just the regular old Talisman. And I have an update on my phone for it, from 2 days ago. However, when I try to update it, I get the message that "This item is no longer available" or something to that effect. What?! So I searched for it. Gone. If you google search, it comes up, but when you tap the link to open it in the App Store, it doesn't work. So...what the heck? Seems like it was on the App Store 2 days ago if they pushed an update then? Plus...this is a paid game. I'm getting really annoyed by games I've paid for just disappearing. Really really really annoying. Shouldn't be legal but what can you do. Anyone know what's going on? I googled looking for an explanation, and searched around on here, but I can't find anything. Saw a post on r/boardgames raving about LoW and I was tempted but there were some comments suggesting the OP to play Agricola too so I'm torn again. Anyone who has played these two games care to weigh in on the gameplay and playability and what they like about the game? For the record, I don't mind the price. I like card games mostly and I'm trying to venture into more game genres which is why I wanna try playing either LoW or Agricola. Also, I'll be playing by myself (none of my friends are interested in the games I play so I mostly play with AI or online). Would be nice if you guys can weigh in on that too. Thanks in advance!
