    well i'm going to buy my first iphone. an 6s, and i was wondering if i should buy a new 16GB or a used 64GB, the price of the two models are really similar, but i'm little concerned with the used phone breaking in my hands

    that form of thinking make sense or i shoudn't worry because there are no mechanical parts on the iphone ?

    Hey Guys, I made this wallpaper from he anime movie "Akira" which I couldn't find any good one. Its native resolution for the iPhone X and probably will scale down nicely. It's a cheap remake of a google search. Source in Comments

    So my house is under construction and we needed to do some quick floor measurements and we didn't have a tape measure and I just downloaded a tape measure app from the app store and it worked like a charm legit amazed

    This isn't normal right? (battery)

    I have an iPhone 6S and I replaced the battery about 6 months ago under the battery replacement issue (https://www.apple.com/support/iphone6s-unexpectedshutdown/)

    .

    I did not notice anything different after replacing the battery - the performance was the same, actually the battery seemed to discharge faster than normal.

    .

    I went back to the store a month ago and told them that my battery seems to act weird, the person did two things:

    1. Looked at my battery usage for the past 24 hours and said "30% of your usage was on a game so thats why its draining fast"

    2. Ran some battery check using their iPad and said "Your battery is fine"

    She said "If you have issues do a full refresh and start over with your phone" (but I cannot do that due to some app issues)

    .

    But just 2 weeks ago this situation happened:

    I was driving to pick up my wife and my battery was at 18%. I sent her a text and said I was almost there.

    Then I drove for 10 minutes and then picked up the phone (battery was now 11% despite me not using it for the past 10 minutes) called and said "I found a parking spot, I'm coming upstairs"

    When I ended the call the battery was now at 2%, I plugged it in to charge (normal iPhone charger not a fast charge or anything) - after 20 minutes it was at 33%, after 5 more minutes it was at 50%, after 5 more minutes it was at 67%

    .

    Is this normal?

    This does not seem like normal battery behavior to me, but when I went to the Apple store a month ago they said my battery was perfectly fine.

    My trusty OnePlus 3 died recently and I've been searching for a good phone in my budget range (£300).

    I found my options were limited compared with a few years ago. OnePlus no longer operate in this segment: there are a couple of Motorola options, Samsung Galaxy A 5 and the Honor phones.

    I settled on the Honor 9. It has a fast processor, 4GB RAM and a really nice design. But despite being used to Android I couldn't get on with it. It didn't feel a smooth as my OP3 and the software skin felt cheap.

    So I decided to hit up the refurb market. I was surprised to find that I could get a grade A iPhone 7+ for £309 with a one year warranty.

    I'm using it now and I can't quite believe that you can get a phone this good for this price.

    The build is high end, the camera is a step up front what I'm used to, the battery lasts forever, it's really smooth, fast, it's waterproof, the vibration motor is amazing and force touch is cool. I've also discovered that the processor benchmarks ahead of the current Android flagships, so it seems fairly future proof. And I'm going to get the best software support possible.

    There seem to very few downsides to this phone (I'm waiting for the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter to arrive from Apple - sadly no accessories were included with my refurb) and if you can find one for this price, it's a no brainier.
