    Welcome to our weekly stickied App thread! This is a new idea so please feel free to offer your feedback about this thread or the subreddit in general in the comments. As usual if you have a serious issue with the subreddit please contact the moderators directly.

    This thread is intended to help members of the /r/iphone community get informed about new apps that are out there. App developers may also use this thread to make users aware that their new app exists.

    Please sort comments by 'new' to find questions/information that would otherwise be buried.

    In this thread you can ask any iOS app related question that you may have. Anyone may offer advice on any issue.

    Two examples of potential questions could be; "How do I learn to code an app?", or "How is app pricing determined?"

    Developers, please include as much information about your app as possible, including size, price, release info, and anything else people request.

    Finally, please stick to reddiquette and keep your comments on topic and substantive. Thanks for participating.

    I don't know if this is acceptable here, so delete if it isn't.

    But I'm finally coming over from Android to iPhone. I work for a major cellphone company and see day-in day-out phone issues and ease of use. I bought the Google Pixel last year, and let me tell you, I have never hated a phone as much as this one. This phone completely turned me off to all things Android, and after being around iPhones and seeing their ease of use and excellent social uses, I fell in love.

    I had to order my phone, but I'm excited tomorrow to be joining the iPhone family!

    For my birthday (2/15), I went to Apple and replaced my 13 MO iPhone SE’s battery. What a difference. Worth the 2 1/2 hour wait.

    Daughter bricked her iPhone 6 in the washing machine. I sold it as non-working for parts and set her up with another iPhone 6. Buyer got the old phone working and is asking for the iCloud password. Since I was unable to wipe the phone, what is the best way to handle this situation?

    Since I was unable to wipe the phone while it was in my possession, the buyer needs access via iCloud password to set up in his name. Are there any alternatives? Should I provide the password?

    Phone keeps crashing?

    Someone added me to a group in whatsapp with a weird type of letter, and now my phone keeps turning off with that rotating loading thingy. I cant open reddit or whatsapp or anything, sometimes when i unlock my phone it crashes instantly.

    How do i fix this? I'm getting kinda tired of these weird signs crashing iphones.

    Edit: Sometimes it even crashes now when nobody is sending it.

    Putting back original battery to get a brand new one from Apple: will I get caught?

    Hello, I've been to a third party store to replace my iPhone battery a few months ago, but the battery hasn't aged well. I still have the original battery and I wanted to know if I replace it back on my iPhone, will I be able to go to an Apple Store and get a brand new battery? Will they know the battery has been switched beforehand?

    I really like the look of the Apple leather and silicon case, but I am not sure about the bottom not being protected. Has the shiny bottom of your X shipped or been damaged so far using the Apple case?

    I know we're all tired of seeing this post, but I can't find the answer anywhere, including this sub...

    Does anyone have the definitive answer on how to make your contact photos full-screen?

    • I've made sure to assign the photo via iCloud.

    • I've made sure I'm not syncing with any other contact 'service', i.e. Google or Exchange.

    • I've made sure the photo is the correct resolution.

    And I STILL can't find a common denominator between those that work and those that don't...

    So I know you can clear all notifications that are old. The new ones have to be done one by one otherwise. But I get a lot of new notifications before the "x" appears to clear all new notifications. Is there anyway to clear all the notifications on the sceeen without the x being present yet?

    Iphone6 wont turn on !

    Hi everybody, i have an iphone 6, yesterday when it was in charge its turned off sudenly for no reason, from this moment i cant turn it on, even when its charging (there's no battery charging screen), its a short circuit ? What can i do to restart it ? I tried to press power+home, i connected a new battery and a new lightning port without result Please help ! Thanks a lot

    iPhone 8 won't turn back on.

    I got the forbidden character message through the groupMe app last night. My phone along with all my friend's phones in the group shut off, however most of their phones have turned back on since unlike mine. I tried doing the force restart thing with the volume buttons + power, tried updating through iTunes and let it die overnight, yet it still isn't working. Any help? Should I try removing the sim or something?

    Most accurate weather app?

    The stock weather app is telling me there is snow showers but outside it's all sunny and nice. Which weather app do you find the most accurate? I heard about Dark Skies, but I'm in Canada and that app isn't available here. Thanks in advance!
