    So I have always been an android guy. Rooting, Roms, kernels, and themes. My wife had an iPhone 6s Plus that she replaced with an iPhone 7 Plus. Curiosity got the best of me and I thought, I'm going to try her old phone and see how bad these iPhones really are. Well 6 month or so went by and I just bought my first new iPhone yesterday. iPhone 8 Plus! Being kind of a phone snob I really wanted the iPhone X ( I assume that's a common debate for a lot of people) After a lot of reading I decided to get the 8+ for the larger usable area, Touch ID, and let's face it, the cheaper price and cheaper Apple care. I really enjoyed the 6s Plus but the battery has been on the way out for sometime and the slowdown was real with that one. Camera was bad (coming from a pixel xl), it was rose gold, and only 16GB. All I can say about this new 8+ is wow. So fast and smooth and the battery life is something else. This thing just goes on forever. So what drew me into iOS/Apple? iMessage and how well the apps function overall. Some apps were better on android, mainly google apps. I'm really really happy so far. Not that I'm that new to iOS since I have been using it for the past 6 months or so but I feel like this phone is a honest representation of the experience.

    TL;DR I got a new iPhone and I'm really happy with it lmao.

    Dear Reddit fellows i am not sure if i am on the right place to ask, But my problem is that couple of days ago i restore my back up everything is okay except i cant install the official apps like Notes, Itunes, Calendar etc; I have tried every possible solution available but didn’t work please Help

    YouTube/Twitch video pausing when receiving notifications.

    Hi all,

    Since I've updated to iOS11 I've found Snapchat in particular, to disrupt my video streaming.

    The stream will pause until the notification is gone.

    Is there a fix for this?

    Anyone thinks Apple should implement the dock rounded shape design of the iPhone X to earlier models of the iPhone. It looks clean and dope.

    My sister has a 6S that needs the battery replaced badly. Now that Apple is offering battery replacements for $29 she's willing to pay for a replacement. Thing is there's a hairline crack going across her screen. Would that make her in-eligible?

    So I decided finally get the 8 plus instead of the X.

    For me both the X and the 8 plus have advantages but I think the longer battery life, notchless screen, and price ultimately won out.

    How are the 8 plus users liking their phone any regrets?

    My 5S is holding on by a thread and I am ready to replace it. Just looking for some info on the two phones in the title: Do people love them? Is the 8 enough of an improvement to warrant twice the money? I am a user who likes to get a long life from devices and I am worried about the life span of the SE, thoughts? Thanks in advance.
