[Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp] Anyone else disappointed?

The game is already released here in Australia (will be released everywhere else in november) so as an animal crossing fan I was super excited downloading it. And now after playing for a few days I'm just... bored with it. A few things I'm disliking:

    • You can get furniture and customise your campsite just like a home except there seems to be tons of indoor furniture. You need specific items to get a character to visit your campsite so your place is just destined to look off when so much of the furniture you need to have out is mismatched and looks weird outdoors. A lot of the furniture is from the regular DS games which is where a lot of the problems stem. Newsflash, a bed, a wardrobe, a kitchen sink, a lamp, etc. just don't look right outdoors.

    • The hobbies (fishing, bug catching, picking fruit, etc.) just aren't fun anymore. Their's just no variety. I used to love finding the different bugs and coming back at different times of day/year to find different variety's of insects. Now there's just the exact same 8 or so different bugs/fish in each of the 3 sections.

    • I have no clue what amenities do or why I should want to level them up. I feel like this is something that isn't completely developed yet but they just put in anyways.

    • You can't sell fruit or bugs or insects to Tom Nook, only clothes and furniture. So if you want to sell your catches you need to put them in your 'market box' and wait for another player to purchase it. You also can't put furniture or clothes in the market box which is rediculous. Any bug/fish can be gotten within the half hour if you keep catching but furniture and clothing are so varied and getting clothing you like is pure luck so it would be so much better to be able to swap clothes/furniture between players rather than something we can all easily get without purchasing from another player.

Listen, for a free it's really nice but... it's just such a huge disapointment compared to the main games. It's just so boring and monotonous and it just feels like there's no progress to be had within the game. I can access different characters when I level up but they aren't unique at all other than what they look like, they all function the exact same with limited variety in interaction. I feel no incentive to keep playing at all. I just... I really hope they release an animal crossing game on the switch cause I've been craving a good AC binge for a while now and this game just didn't deliver at all.

Seemingly cursed game - anybody know about Queen's Crown?

    Posted: 30 Oct 2017 04:00 AM PDT

In 2010, this game was released and it was a masterpiece. It was akin to Zelda except it had more RPG mechanics and customization (imagine LoZ with weapons, skills, and stat points to level up) and a female protagonist's original story. For unknown reasons this game was taken off the app store.

Does anybody remember this work of art or have any information? Apparently there's a sequel but only on Android and I don't know any way to play Android games on iOS.

What open world online multiplayer games are there?

So the game doesn't need to be completely free roam, but what adventure/rpg style games are there where you can play alongside others?

What are your favourite games to play when you don't have WiFi on the bus and/or metro?

I have a pretty long public transit to work each day so I'm looking for some fun time consuming games I can play. What do you recommend?
