I don't even have 100 megabytes in iCloud storage. 1 picture no videos on my phone. My next backup size is 8 gigabytes I don't know how that works because none of my apps are over a gigabyte. It will let me save it but then when I check it, it goes back to the default automated voice. I deleted all my old voicemails. I even changed my voicemail password? | Posted: 29 Aug 2021 04:39 PM PDT Problem: Phone won't turn on or screen won't turn on. Phone doesn't buzz and screen does not show charging indicator when plugged in. Cause: I was using a waterproof bag that's used for carrying keys and phones when you go in the water, but I hadn't zipped it up properly. Phone was held at surface level in my pocket for maybe a half hour before I noticed the bag was unsealed. It was still running, but I didn't turn it off when I handed it off to be kept dry. Screen was off by the time i got back to my phone. What I tried: Phone in rice over a couple days (I cheated a little bc i opened the bag to see if it had dried up). Opened phone to separate screen from base to inspect inside for moisture (no moisture found at time of inspection). Cotton swabs and alcohol used to clean some dirt build up before sealing the open phone in a glass Tupperware container with silica gel packets. I like this model bc of the lack of dongle requirements, and form factor. I also like to keep my text message history. I'm most concerned about my authenticator apps. Is there a way to diy recover my apps as if they were logged into the same phone? Or ideally, is there a way to fix the phone? [link] [comments]  | ||

I tried to switch it on but there was an apple logo sign popping on and off after every 10sec. So I googled and tried to restore it as later it was showing restore sign. I connected thru Mac iTunes. But it's unable to restore and update and showing 4013 error message. I went to apple store tech support as well but they're telling that it's a hardware problem and suggested me to pay 600$ for replacement of the phone. Is there anyway I could fix this problem? Here we go: - What's the bet way, for a new user, to buy a new iPhone at dayone? I mean... go to the Apple Store? Buy it from the official website? I read on some forum people suggesting to use "the App", but which app are they talking about? If it can help my wife just got an iPad so she is actually an Apple user with Apple hardware. - Why all this interest in storage? I mean it's like 2 years that I've got a Pixel 4 with 64Gb and now I'm using more or less 70% of the storage. In 2021 I do not keep the photo on the phone, I use the Google Photo cloud service and for the music I use Apple Music. I've got (as most of the people here in Italy) a lot of Gb in the phone service plan so there's not even the need to lower the streaming quality. - The Widgets on iPhone they don't work as on Android right? where you actually "place" them on an empty space of one of the desktop pages, right? - I already use some of the Apple services, such as TV and Music. Is it possible to change the country in Music (and Apple Music only I mean)? | Iphone XS Carrier Update Sent Phone into havoc Posted: 29 Aug 2021 12:11 PM PDT After a pushed carrier update last week my iPhone XS has been going nuts, restarting on its own, force closing apps and data was not working. I factory reset it and then tried recovery from iCloud which was stuck and never progressed and while doing so the phone was not usable. I then stopped the iCloud backup process and again factory reset, this time without using a back up. All seemed okay, but then once I signed into my iCloud and it started syncing iPhotos, messages and other data it started going nuts again. It keeps restarting on its own, force closing apps, messaging, data, etc nothing works. So I restart the phone and things work again but it's still buggy. I removed all apps except for basically all apple apps. But it's still not okay. Any help, suggestions, or clues? I have hello mobile prepaid, and all this started RIGHT after a carrier update, no new apps were installed at the time, and no IOS updates at the time, just the carrier update. It said I needed to paste my UDID so I could install the spoofing app. I never ended up installing the app because it said I need to pay for premium access but I still gave them my UDID nevertheless. in short was giving my UDID out unsafe? i'm nervous that they will be able to access sensitive information. any responses would be very appreciated!
