    Hi everyone,

    I keep experiencing audio dropout on my Apple TV on apps like Netflix, YouTube, HBO, etc. They are random, and I cannot figure out what the problem is. I have HDR and DOLBY enabled, and have a high speed HDMI cable hooked to a projector from an amplifier. Help?

    Activity log?

    Hello,

    When you turn on the Apple TV, is there a way to check the activity log? Like what was watched etc.

    Ok so this is a bit weird. But when ever i restart my Apple TV I notice that my iMac turns on after doing so. Not a big deal to me but just curious why.

    Hello!

    I've noticed that with a few Hulu shows (Teen Titans Go! or Doozers for example), when I select the next episode in Up Next on the home screen or in the Apple TV app, it opens up the Spanish language version of the show by mistake. It doesn't always happen but with enough frequency to be strange.

    Anyone else run into this? Is this more of a Hulu problem rather than with the Apple TV?

    Can I mirror iPhone to Apple 4K tv without WiFi?

    I just purchased a new Apple 4K tv in the hopes I could stream my movies from Plex/gdrive using my cellular data instead of having to use WiFi (very low internet speed) so using cellular data is the only way I could stream high quality and be able to enjoy my new Roku 4K tv. Is this possible?

    LG C9 keeps black intermittent screen during usage with Apple TV

    Dunno if this happens with you guys. My LG C9 keeps with intermittent black screen (during 1 or 2 seconds randomly during Netflix or other app usage), and then resumes showing with the Dolby vision icon on the top right corner.

    Do you know how to avoid this? Is it any configuration on Apple TV or LG?

    Can’t watch age-restricted videos on YouTube app on both newer and older Apple TVs

    I have no problem anywhere else (iPhone, laptop, etc... all signed into same account).

    For the newer Apple TV: Clicking certain videos I get "Viewer discretion advised. This video may be inappropriate for some users" with the options of "I wish to proceed" and "Cancel".

    Clicking "I wish to proceed" gets me "Something went wrong. Sorry, this content is age-restricted."

    Similar happens for the older one but slightly different wording ("Video unavailable", etc).

    These are music videos, etc, I watch regularly and this has only started to happen in the last couple of days. Help! 😬

    Apple Tv Plus keeps saying "This video isn't available to watch in your country" !!!

    Apple TV 4k being used on Wifi with Optimum network, I'm in the U.S. When trying to watch Apple TV Plus I get this error message: "This video isn't available to watch in the country or region you're currently in." Happens with any Apple TV Plus content. It also happens to the Apple TV plus content when I try on my iphone. All other streaming services work perfectly such as Netflix, Disney plus, even the Apple app store.

    I've rebooted modem/router, double checked router was set to North America and called Optimum and they checked modem/router and said nothing had changed on their end and that the issue was not on their end. I called Apple support and they had me disconnect from Optimum and connect to my iphone mobile hotspot through Verizon and the Apple TV plus content does work, which does point to the ISP. Nothing at all on my router/modem was changed at all, everything was working perfectly yesterday morning and then yesterday evening is when I started to get the error message.

    So now I have both Apple and Optimum saying it's not on their end and I have no idea where to begin. Hoping someone has had this experience, but even a Google search turns up nothing at all.

    Edit: just to add I don't use a VPN or any kind of forwarding service.

    Latest tvOS update broke my HDMI-CEC

    After the latest update (13.4.5), my living room set up with my Apple TV stopped working. The setup goes

    Apple TV -> Yamaha Reciever <->LG smart 4K TV

    For over a year I gave controlled on/off and volume all through the Apple TV with the Apple TV remote using HDMI CEC, and sound was played through the receiver using ARC.

    One day I woke up and this setup was no longer working. The Apple TV is the ONLY device that can not control the other devices via HDMI CEC. If I plug in the other devices directly to each other in any way it works.

    I have been troubleshooting for an hour, all of my settings for HDMI CEC are on, the one thing I noticed is that the Apple TV setting for CEC would shut off by itself sometime (even if it was on it would not work still).

    ARC still works, I can hear sound from the Apple TV through my receiver speakers.
