    I have found four apps so far that this pops up with. I go to the App Store and there’s no update or anything. My husband can’t find anything to change with family sharing, we have no idea what to do.

    Macbook Air (2017) - gets hot really easy and fan is always running, even if I'm doing minimal tasks?

    Hi there, I've had this macbook since about December. Sometimes it would heat up/fan would come on, but I only noticed it if I had a lot of applications open or was trying to run large files. Now I find it frequently heats up even if I am just browsing the internet. For example the past hour the fan has been on (unless I put it to sleep to calm it down), but all I've been doing is browsing reddit. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Or how I could fix it? thanks!

    My phone already has an otterbox case and I was wondering if an apple case is more reliable or protective, or at least roughly the same. For more info, I'm looking into the clear case, but could get an opaque one if it's safer.

    Green screen after putting phone in rice due to a foggy camera any ways of fixing it?

    Won’t connect to left earbud, shows 100% charged in the case but when you take them out of case phone only recognizes the right ear bud. Tried to reset doesn’t fix. Any suggestions??

    My left AirPod is not showing as connected. It is charging, however. This morning it worked for a couple minutes then stopped. It isn't detecting my ear. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    My iphone won't let me view my subscriptions. Could somebody help? I've tried for an hour!

    I've been on my phone for an hour trying to unsubscribe from Amazon Music Unlimited. Amazon won't let me view my account and keeps linking me to itunes, but neither itunes nor my iphone apple ID will even let me view my subscriptions. Everything else seems to work fine, however. It's extremely frustrating because I just want to cancel my stupid Amazon Music Unlimited subscription and they're making it extremely difficult.

    Please help!

    So, as title says,

    I have an iPhone XR, & I did something pretty big brained, [back story is that I have had this phone for like 1.5 + years & have never had any problems with this / like this before]

    My phone felt really dirty the other night,

    & knowing that they're waterproof, I thought it would be a good idea to wash it (idk), anyway so I do so (with soap & water & everything mainly on the front screen, but just like how you'd wash your hands),

    & all is well & good, but when I got into my car & plug it in to play music (USB Car to Lightning Port, normal iPhone charging cable) it popped up with a message I've never seen that it says water detected in Lighting Port & to give it a few hours to dry. Ok, w/e.

    To speed it up: Now it seems like it's having trouble connecting, at first it was having a really hard time even charging,

    I look inside & it looks like there's just some gunk inside (not an insane amount, but some visible)

    & so I think that it's water & soap or whatever got mixed with whatever lint or debris was in there,

    & kind of created some intense gunk. Best advice I found in the moment was to gently use a paperclip to try & get the gunk out,

    & that solved my charging issue mostly,

    but the MAIN issue is, now, in my car, it's like if I move my phone at ALL, it disconnects, & the music stops.

    When I set it back down, no movement to cord, it'll play again,

    but if I literally touch my phone, music stops. Basically you can just tell the connected between the lightning cable & port is crap.

    The long & short is 1) I am trying to make sure I didn't do any permanent damage to the lightning port with just the gentle soap & water rinse focused really mainly just on the front screen. 2) how the heck can I clean better & get EVERYTHING out of the lightning port?

    Is there any really tiny little tools or brushes or whatever that some people have found very useful to get a lightning port completely clean?

    Cable is a bit old, but again, had this phone for over 1.5 years & this started literally directly after that whole washing thing, so I don't think it's the cable.

    TL;DR, my brain was big & I thought it would be a good idea to soap & water wash my iPhone XR bc I know they're waterproof IP67,

    I think some water got mixed with the lint or stuff that was in my lightning port,

    & so now, even though I did my best to gently clean out the gunk with a paper clip (best tip I could find online at the time), it still seems like my cable which was working fine before is having a HELL of a time making / keeping a good connection.

    Want to know if anyone knows of any special tips or tricks or tools or recommendations to completely clean out my lightning port,

    as it's very small & I've has a hard time racking my brain thinking of something to clean it with that's not just like sharp metal (thumb tack, paper clip, etc) bc I cant imagine that's good for the lightning port.

    Okay sorry for long winded, I have a hard time condensing things. Details!

    App Exposé only works on external display

    Okay so this has been going on a couple days and I just figured out the pattern. I have my trackpad shortcuts set so that swiping three fingers down engages App Expose (show all open windows of the active app). It works fine when I do it with the cursor on a window on the external display. But when I am on a window on the internal display, it doesn't work - it either doesn't show any windows, or it shows the windows of a different app, seemingly at random. So for instance right now I'm typing this in a Safari window on the internal display, when I do the gesture over this window it says "no available windows" on this screen and shows an Activity Monitor screen on the other display. But when I click any window on the external display and do the gesture, it works fine. Uniformly behaves correctly on the external displays, and wrongly on the internal. It doesn't seem to much matter what app it's in, and the "alternate" app seems to be selected at random - a minute ago it was Activity Monitor, then it was Time Machine, then one time it was nothing at all, just "no windows" on all three screens. The only pattern I can identify is that it is only broken on the internal display.

    What could be causing this, and how could I fix it?

    2018 MBPTB13, 10.14.6. First noticed the behavior about a week ago, and have rebooted and unplugged several times since without a change.

    Ios video player randomly stops in the middle of the video, and the only way to get it to continue playing is to reboot the player or website playing it.

    Model: ipad mini2 Ios version: 12.4.7 So as mentioned above, whenever I watch a video using the ios video player, the video will randomly stop playing. It stays stuck until the website loading the video has been refreshed. Youtube works fine, the browser I originally used was Chrome, tried Safari, same problem continued. I tried using another website to view the same video (different video host, too), but nothing changes. After the video fails once, upon refreshing and replaying the video, it stops again almost instantly. Apple support is not answering, and this is rather troubling.

    2020 MacBook Air Boot Time Help?

    Hi all. I just got a 2020 MacBook Air (i7/16gb RAM/512gb SSD) a couple of weeks ago. Could you please let me know if a 23 second boot time is normal or if it could be a tad bit too slow? I was thinking about starting my MacBook w/ a fresh install of the OS just in case. Thanks.

    My Mac notebook was purchased a year ago and now I have issues with the display. It's Retina display mac 2018. It hasn't fallen and I have desktop protectors too. I just don't know what to do and Apple near me is closed because of the lockdown, so I can't even visit. The issue is that one side of the display is faded colour and everything on that side is faded.

    A couple days ago, it said that my storage was full. So I went and deleted a bunch of pictures. Today, all the pictures are back... I'm not sure what to do.

    I pay $3.99 a month for additional storage through icloud. I'm really confused on what to do. Any help is appreciated!

    Iv been on apples upgrade program for 8 months on my iPhone 11. Iv recently found out that my previously water damaged Xs max now works without issues. Is there a way to end my contract without paying for the whole $ amount of the iPhone11?
