It wears down so much that I can see the metal inside the tip (at which point it stops writing reliably). I really like the way the screen cover feels and I'm afraid that I'll take it off and find that the nib wears down at the same rate on glass because I'm pressing too hard or something. But if it is the screen covers fault I need to get a new one. Anyone else with paperlike have this problem or don't have this problem? Anyone have this issue on glass? Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:07 PM PST Hey All, Warning: possible run on sentences / stream of thought I bought a twelve south StayGo USB-C hub recently which I absolutely LOVE. Big fan of their build quality. The hub supports power in via USB-C and USB-C out to your device (2018 12" iPad Pro here). Here is what I noticed if using the hub, a 60W power adapter, and a USB thumb drive. -If I use the Apple OEM cable between hub to iPad, with NO power into the hub, USB drive works fine. -If I use the Apple OEM USB-C cable from the hub to my iPad (and either TwelveSouth or Anker cable from charger to the hub): The usb thumb drive tries to get powered up but fails, and won't mount. -If I use the Apple cable from the charger to the hub, and TwelveSouth/Anker cable from hub to iPad: All works perfect -If I use any combination of TwelveSouth/Anker cables with no use of Apple OEM cable: All works perfectly. So my issue appears to be the Apple OEM cable. it works when used as power source to the hub when using USB drives. And works as connection of hub to iPad with USB drives. It even works as connection of hub to iPad while Hub gets powered, as a charger; but won't allow USB drives. Sorry if this all sounds confusing as hell. Any thoughts?
