    /r/iosgaming is looking for mods

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 05:51 AM PST

    Hi all,

I'm currently the only active mod on here, so I'm looking for some help. I need people that can manage the modqueue, and approve/remove unmoderated posts.

    There are a few requirements:

    1. Have over 5,000 combined karma
    2. Be an active member on /r/iosgaming

In addition to this, you cannot apply if you have been banned from /r/iosgaming.

For those wanting to join the mod team, you can apply here: https://goo.gl/forms/rA6mkEZKZzVd4dL72

If you have any questions, feel free to reply. Mods will need to install the Mod Toolbox extension to moderate effectively.

Please note that new mods added will only have access to modqueue and unmoderated posts, but if you perform well you'll most likely be given more access to other parts of moderation.

    Thanks for applying!

Stardew Valley 1.07 now available - fixes gates and other issues

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 03:58 AM PST

    Release notes are sparse:

" Minor bug fixes, gates now easier to open and close. "

Edit: one report so far that it also fixed the "stuck saving the night before the wedding" issue present in 1.06

Looking for a good brain trainer

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 05:04 AM PST

Hi guys, I'm currently in the selection process of an education and job as air traffic controller. This whole field is fairly new to me, but after some research and experiences, it is clear that i'll need some serious brain skills to make it till the end of selection.

I'm looking for a free (or a cheap one time purchase) app that can help me train my brain. I'm mainly hoping to train aspects connected to air traffic controlling, like multi tasking ability, focus, attention, anticipation and memory.

Lumosity is a really good app for which I'm also willing to pay once, but €14 a month is really too much. Google does give me some alternatives, but not a lot that are so good, scientific and with interesting reports on my activity.

So, to break my question down: I'm looking for a cheap/free app to train my brain. Unlimited exercises. If there's anyone with experience in the selectionprocess I'm in and knowing what skills I need to train, that would be even better.

Thanks in advance and have a great day!

Edit: I just bumped into Peak, which looks very promising. Still any tips are welcome.

Edit 2: Peak is great, but also a limited free version. Pro is a yearly €20 (black friday deal)

Holy shit guys, this changes everything.

I've been an iPhone user since 2009 and since then played more casual games than I can count.

I've always liked the idea of more serious gaming but what ALWAYS threw me off was the godawful controls. My hand cramps, my fingers are in the way and so on, I guess you know the drill.

Lately I've been heavily burned out on everything that even vaguely resembles the F2P, P2W formula.

Today I went to the Apple Store, bought a Gamevice on a whim and downloaded Grimvalor.

Daaaaamn this is it. Everything I always wanted. It feels so good and polished.

What other MFI games are such a delight to play as Grimvalor?? Please tell me I've finally opened up a whole new world of mobile gaming!

    Any decent weed games?

    Posted: 16 Nov 2018 04:00 PM PST

I have a game called fiz where you brew beer and had a lot of fun with it. Was wondering if a game exists that is similar but with weed instead, or something like that. I've done some research but all I've found is F2P which I'm really not into especially if the game is basically forcing you to spend money to get anywhere
