Do HD movie bundles include the 4K versions? Posted: 11 Aug 2018 12:19 AM PDT This is probably silly since I know all iTunes movies with 4K versions include those for no extra charge, but I just want to make sure. Movie bundles where all the films are available in 4K only list the bundle as HD. Do these bundles also include the 4K versions? I just want to make sure. The Mission: Impossible bundle is $50 and getting all of those in 4K for that price would be amazing. Thanks for the help! [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Aug 2018 05:49 PM PDT So maybe I'm behind the times but there must have been an update because now Siri can pause the AppleTV. I swore I've tried before and found out it wouldn't work. I don't even know what made me think to try again lol. Anyways that's all. Onwards! [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Aug 2018 05:20 PM PDT I've just had issues. It starts great and after 25 minutes it starts getting super choppy. Didn't know if you all had any suggestions. [link] [comments]
Can I use an american Apple TV in Europe? Also, how can I update it? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 11:01 AM PDT I have a 2nd gen Apple TV I bought in NYC several years ago and I was wondering a couple things, first, can I use it here in Europe, and second, can I update it just by connecting to wifi or do I need to update it by connecting it to a computer? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 04:28 PM PDT When I play Netflix, CraveTV, prime video we get a black screen when actually playing the episode. There's sound, the parental guidance comes up. Menu works. YouTube, Bob Ross app plays video. Tried resetting the whole unit and video settings. No software update available. Any advice? [link] [comments]
Boomerang Cartoon Network & Apple TV issue? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 09:08 AM PDT We are unable to view any content from Boomerang streaming service. Just on the Apple TV though. We have one Roku that works just fine, and three Apple TV 4k's that will not show content. Anyone else having an issue? I'm wondering if it's a wider problem than just us. [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Aug 2018 11:01 AM PDT CNET will tell you all HDMI cables are basically the same, but apparently not when it comes to Apple TV 4K. I experienced serious remote lag and remote hang ups until I upgraded to a better cable of more recent vintage — an AudioQuest "Sky" from Best Buy. Problem solved. I noticed visual glitches were reduced (maybe eliminated), too. The customer service guy from Apple Support recommended the Belton Ultra High Speed. He said it had to do with better shielding preventing interference with the Bluetooth on the remote. I just grabbed the best one I could find cause I was in a hurry. Look for UHD/4K/DolbyVision/HDR labeling, high bandwidth and good shielding. [link] [comments]
With no GPS chip, how does ATV 4 track location? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 10:08 AM PDT Using a DNS service for a streaming service which is not working anymore. Yesterday it did work for a little bit but then it booted me out when it once again detected my location. Does it track through devices connected to other locations? I created a new Apple ID not connected to any devices and still didn't work. I'm not on WiFi either. And I wiped my ATV completely too. [link] [comments]
Is there a way to NOT have apps run in the background? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 08:02 AM PDT I've noticed some issues with streaming apps on my Apple TV, that if they're running in the background and I re-open them, they don't seem to work correctly and I need to force-close and re-open them. I'd rather the apps just shut down altogether, ala Roku. Any way to do that? [link] [comments]
Home Sharing MacBook to Apple TV Posted: 10 Aug 2018 06:22 AM PDT I've noticed that even with my computer on, I need to start iTunes on my MacBook Pro before my content appears on the Computers app on my ATV. I looked in my login items and iTunesHelper is there, isn't this suppose to allow me to stream content from MBP --> ATV without starting iTunes? [link] [comments] |
