Posted: 02 Feb 2022 01:52 AM PST Posting this here so that maybe I could inspire others to keep closing their rings. It's been almost 2 years since I had a perfect month like this. In my location where quarantine is strict, and work is fully remote. It's hard to keep being active specially when work and stress keeps popping up in random timeframes. I guess making workouts like work appointments does really work. And frequently standing up to hydrate works well with the stand ring. On to the next month, and the months after that! Cheers! Posted: 02 Feb 2022 12:58 AM PST I used to have a Fitbit and the line graph in that app is so much easier to read. I know I could export the data into Excel to graph it, but honestly that seems a bit ridiculous to have to do, considering other trackers had line graphs years ago. [link] [comments]
Advice to prevent workouts from being stopped by a long sleeve? Posted: 02 Feb 2022 05:54 AM PST I regularly jog with my apple watch and given that in my country it is COLD for 3-4 months over winter, I often wear long sleeves whilst I exercise outdoors during these months. On two recent jogs, I've been wondering why my kilometre split times aren't being announced in my earbuds, and when I check the watch, something has not just paused the workout but stopped it completely (so it's just the normal watch face) and so I've been jogging without any measurements. Thankfully, I am so familiar with my usual jogging routes and the rough location of 1km distance points on them, that I am only losing a few hundred metres of a run without it being recorded, but it is still frustrating. Does anyone have advice on how to stop long sleeves from activating the screen and stopping workouts? I know that you're not supposed to turn the watch inwards to your wrist because this interferes with accurate metrics. The tops I wear to go jogging in are quite thin synthetic fabric, not layers and layers, so I am amazed that the screen reacts to them. Am I missing a setting somewhere that would require e.g. a press of the side button or turn of the digital crown during a workout to affect the recording? [link] [comments]
Bought my first Apple Watch and I also got one for my father. Posted: 01 Feb 2022 06:36 PM PST Hello folks! I am new here. Just wanted to introduce myself to this community. I recently got an Apple Watch and it is fantastic. My father loved it and wanted one too, so I bought one for him today! He has heart and other related health problems which I personally believe the Watch will help him with that. If you're curious, we both got the Series 7. Hello Watch world! [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Feb 2022 08:23 AM PST Stainless Space Black Series 5 at 89% battery health with a bunch of bands and accessories including oem space black steel link Or, Aluminium Green Series 7 for the better screen and future-proofing? They're going for the same, and I'm leaning toward 5. Would appreciate your thoughts! [link] [comments]
I suspect i received a replica, how to be sure? Posted: 02 Feb 2022 04:58 AM PST I ordered an apple watch series 6 and paid with paypal (because you know, what could go wrong). Before buying, seller told me that it was a brand new 40mm space grey version. I got the package today, and the box is for sure original. It says space grey 44mm apple watch. Inside is a 44mm blue watch, and the side rotation button is blue with a red circle. On the back is the apple logo as it should be. When i turned the device on, the main screen was very laggy. I have hold an apple watch of a friend, and in a store, and it's nothing alike. When i check the settings it says it is an a2292 which should be correct. If it's a fake, they pulled it off pretty well. But how to be sure? [link] [comments]

Is there a way to disable 'stop alarm' on my apple watch? Posted: 01 Feb 2022 04:14 PM PST I'm a real deep sleeper. I love AW for the sleep tracking (auto sleep not the stock app). It lets me understand why I'm not 100% in the daytime. But my 1/4 awake brain has figured out that by simply hitting the crown I can silence the alarm I set on my phone. Was late for work about a month ago for the first time ever. I want to wake up finding my phone to turn off my alarm. Is this possible? The AW has rendered my phone alarm useless... while providing other important data. [link] [comments]
Thinking of downgrading from series 7 Hermes to aluminium Posted: 02 Feb 2022 03:46 AM PST So I bought an Apple Watch Hermes series 7 stainless steel with single tour deployment buckle 45mm when they released and now I've had it a while I find I absolutely hate the stainless steel look , it just doesn't look very premium to me. My friend has a midnight aluminium and I think it looks very nice. I'm thinking of downgrading to the 45mm midnight (obviously I can still use all my bands then), has anybody downgraded before and had regrets especially in regards to the material change?? Limited Unity and Lunar Acchievements not available anymore? Posted: 02 Feb 2022 02:47 AM PST Yesterday I discovered that you can acquire said batches when I was opening the fitness app on my phone. However they seem to have been removed since then. They never showed up on my watch either. Anyone else notice this? Is it possible that they are US/Asia only? Since I'm from Europe that might also be a possibility. Any answer is much appreciated ♥️ [link] [comments] |
