    Requirements

    • Submissions must be sent via PM to /u/jailbreakmods .

    • Submissions left as a comment in this post, sent via PM to any other mod, or sent to modmail will be ignored.

    • Submission PMs must include the words "Banner Submission" in the title.

    • Image cannot be greater than 500 KB in size.

    • 5 Versions must be submitted:

      • Non-retina displays: 2000x200px
      • Retina displays: 4000x400px
      • Redesign: 1920x192px
      • Mobile devices: 640x194px min, 1280x384px max, 10:3 ratio
      • Discord Server: 960x540, 16:9 ratio

    • Banners must be submitted as one Imgur album.

    • The content of the banner must be centered and clearly display the name of the subreddit

    Hey all! Back with "part 2" of the friendly reminder to UPDATE TO 14.3 IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON DOING SO!

    I don't mean to be "that guy" but I'm trying to help as many as possible see this before it's too late... Although I'm sure we will see "can I update to 14.3" after this expires... Haha

    I won't go into detail on this post... Simply put: If the profile is going by Cupertino time, you have a little under (see above) HOURS left to perform the 14.3 UPDATE from <14.2.1 using the delayed profile method! In 12 hours, the imposed update delay will flip from 14.3 to 14.4.

    I recommend doing so NOW - Don't wait until the last minute... If the server is overloaded, you may end up missing out on the opportunity.

    Again... THIS IS YOUR ABSOLUTE LAST CHANCE to update to 14.3 from a LOWER firmware WITHOUT BLOBS.

    [Tutorial] Update to 14.3 now, while it's still being signed. Yes, it is STILL SIGNED

    To the point:

    The signing window will probably close very soon, so I'm going to quickly make this tutorial. I'll make an explanation post later.

    The two methods both have an equal amount of difficulty, choose whichever works for you.

    You can also DM me with you Discord name and tag, and I'll let you use my own MDM to 14.3 in ~8 hours from when this post was made (I need to sleep now lol). 3 people have done this method and successfully updated to 14.3.

    MDM Method

    1. Head to this link. Sign up for a free trial, use an email that's not common such as gmail, yahoo. Feel free to use a temp mail service. You also should use a valid phone number such as Google Voice.
    2. Continue through activation of the free trial, clicking the links to activate it in your email.
    3. Head to the VMWare cloud console, head to Workspace ONE, then United Endpoint Manager.
    4. Finish setup, use your free Apple ID if you need for APNS.
    5. Create an organization account in Accounts, it can be super simple with the password just being "123". Valid email not required.
    6. Ensure your device is spoofing supervision and then restore rootfs.
    7. Enroll you device by going to the UEM link: https://<link_root>/enroll, then enter the Group ID found by clicking at the number in the top left of the UEM panel.
    8. Once your device is enrolled in the MDM, go to Devices > List View. Choose your device, go to the updates tab.
    9. Choose 14.3 from the list, click publish, then Download and Install. Go to the Software Updates page of your device and it should download then install.

    MITM Method

    1. On Mac, download Proxyman. Windows, download Charles proxy.
    2. Set up the proxy for your phone—you can Google how to do this. Make sure to trust the Root Certificate.
    3. Ensure you are
    4. Jailbreak and install SSL Kill Switch v2 from julioverne's repo. You may need to go to the tweak's settings and enable it. Userspace reboot.
    5. On your proxy (Charles or Proxyman), enable SSL proxying for *.
    6. Add a breakpoint in your proxy for gdmf.apple.com/*. Make sure you can use wildcards.
      • An easy way to do this is to request an update, then right click on GDMF's "assets" and enable a breakpoint for it.
    7. Check for updates on your phone
    8. In the breakpoint that appears, add a new line to the JSON body:
      • "RequestedProductVersion": "14.3",
    9. Ensure that the JSON is still valid where you inserted this line
    10. Disable SSL Proxying and any breakpoints once the update appears.
    MITM Method A
    1. Continue with the update as you normally would. Note that this will not work if you are currently jailbroken while attempting to upgrade.
    MITM Method B
    • 11. Tap and hold on the Download and Install button for 14.3. Click download only.
    • 12. Restore rootfs, stay supervised however.
    • 13. After it's done, do not open the Software Update page in settings (unless you want to do this all over again :P)
    • 14. Enroll in MDM (look above, MDM method)
    • 15. Choose the latest version / any version, choose "Install previously downloaded software update only"
    • 16. "Verifying update" pop-up should appear here, any errors during this part are usually TSS-related.
      • You can use your MITM tool with the "Disable SSL Proxying" feature enabled to sniff out "gs.apple.com" which should give you more insight.
    • 17. If it just doesn't work and starts downloading 14.4.2, 14.3 is probably unsigned.

    I've tried on a desktop and my phone to link all these accounts and devices together but it's just beyond difficult. I think Patreon is not functioning properly or something. Be nice if you could just send a PayPal or something.
