How can I play an old game that's no longer on the app store - War of Eustrath

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 08:35 AM PDT

So one of the first games I ever played and fell in love on iPhone was War of Eustrath. Half a decade later and I still have fond memories of it. Feeling nostalgic now, I wanted to play it again. A few years back it was still on app store but now there doesn't seem to be any method to play it since it's no longer accessible. So I was wondering if anyone would know of any possible way? Maybe to do with IPAs or something? Sorry I dont know much of iOS jargon. Any help would be much appreciated.

[REVIEW] Everything is Fine. A rare action game with unusual setting and gameplay mechanics.

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 09:50 AM PDT

    Hi there!

I've made a small review on Everything is Fine, a rare action game with an unusual setting and a unique gameplay mechanic. Here is the videos version of it.

For those, who are not happy with a video review, I've made a simplified text alternative just below. It would be great to have some feedback and advice on it. It doesn't matter if it is positive or negative, I'm happy to see it.

    Everything is Fine

It's a rare (only 500+ downloads on Play Store) action game with a unique setting where a player should fight different embodiments of a human mind's inner demons like Depression, Social Anxiety or Anger. For example, Depression is a bipedal monster that hugs you to death. The visuals maybe not of the top quality, but they are looking nice and original. I like the visual style and general concept.

The game has a very fast pace and some strategic element to it, which is mostly provided through ammo management, choosing the right upgrades and the most controversial feature of the game: a minimap that takes half of the screen and is used to move around. So it looks like that: left thumb is used to move around the map, and the right thumb is used to move and fight in the current section of a map. Personally, I like this feature for some freshness it brings, but some people might disagree because it feels clunky and unwieldy at first.

The game needs no Internet connection, there are no ads or in-apps of any kind. The game is free. But the developer's page says that Everything is Fine has become a premium game since 1st of October. So, IDK what's up and things might change in the future.

I would recommend playing this game to people, who are seeking for some original and unorthodox design and are not afraid of more simple and low-budgeted games.

Here is the game link: iTunes link

Leave me some feedback if you don't mind.

Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Journey (Annapurna interactive) - visual glitches

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 03:34 AM PDT

Howdy! I keep getting visual glitches in the game Journey: they are blue glitches that appear for a moment and then disappear. They have pretty much only been appearing in the bigger locations: for instance, when I started level 3 (? the one where you meet the kites) there has been a tone of them, but as I progressed to the end of it (with the city in the sandstorm) the glitches stopped appearing. I have seen a review in the app store talking about some glitches, but I can't find more info.

Any way to fix this, is this an app issue or a hardware issue, ...?

    Thanks!

Is there a list of free iPhone 6+ (iOS v12.4.2) compatible games that don't required Internet?

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 12:18 AM PDT

It seems like a lot of games want Internet. I understand some of them are required like Pokemon Go. How about offline free games for old iPhone 6+ (iOS v12.4.2)?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering. :)

Just as the title says. Tried spaceteam and was a bit too fast paced for her, looking for pretty much anything else to give a shot. Thank you.

About to endure a 20-hour plane flight. Does the App Store identify which games work offline?
