    17 Year Old First App (Dog Walk Tracking App)

    My first app, "Walkiez" got approved and released late last night on the iOS App Store. I am proud of what I have created for my first app at 17 years old. I see it as a great project to put on my portfolio.

    Remotely control an iPhone

    I wanna know if there's tools which can use to remote an iPhone. I wanna create a cabinet which contains many iPhones, iPads and I wanna run applications on them. To clarify, as an iOS developer, I wanna run an application in these devices ( like using simulators) and testing them. Need helps

    iOS 13 no accessibility settings?

    Is it me or there is really no accessibility settings anymore? Typed 'brightness' in Settings' search and it got me Auto-Beightness result, but when I tap on it, it just opens General.

    How to download YouTube videos locally?

    So I tried like 7 websites but none worked on either safari nor chrome, the video would not download, it would just play on a new tab and there are no apps on the AppStore that do this so, is there any way? Thanks

    I'm a twit, phone has died with no icloud photos back up. I've found another phone, but it has too little storage to restore the back up onto. I would be fine if I could extract my photos from the C drive back up, but cannot seem to work out how.

    "Ghost" Keyboard after unlocking iPhone XR

    Hello r/ios - hoping you can help me with a problem thats been following me around for a while now. As the title states - sometimes when I unlock my iPhone XR with Face ID, and tap icons close to the bottom of my screen, the presses are not registered, and in stead I see the apple keyboard and the letters I am "pressing" - the keyboard only holds while I touch the display, and disappear immediately after the key press. This has been an ongoing issue since I iOS 12.0 I think.

    Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue with a known fix?

    While making a new background for my iPhone X, I accidentally made it to where it has a sort of live-wallpaper effect; when you turn the screen on, the gradient takes longer to load than the black, making it look like it is live. Try it out for yourself! I may start trying to make more like this.

    iPhone crashed and erased my contacts, Safari bookmarks, and open Safari tabs. Any way of restoring? iCloud and restore backup from iTunes are not options.

    I didn't think of backing up on iCloud, and my iTunes iPhone backup decided to magically encrypt itself without me ever opting for that. Edit: do recovery softwares actually work or are they just weird shady stuff?

    "Other" space usage automatically cleaned?

    I am using the LivePlayer and File Explorer applications, if anyone is unfamiliar, they are file manager apps that allow to transfer files between the device and cloud services, like Dropbox, Google Drive, network shared folders and much more.

    They also have some video and music playback capabilities and they open most file types and documents. So, I used these apps to transfer music video clips that I have in my Dropbox to the phone, so that I can watch them even while offline. This is when I noticed something strange.

    Before I downloaded the files, my iPhone 8 Plus was using 30 of 64 GB space with a significant amount of these 30 GB marked as "Other" (about 35-40%). I downloaded 12 GB of video clips and the space usage increased only from 30 to 33 GB, while a big amount of the "Other usage" had been cleared and reduced.

    I tried the same on my older iPhone 6 64 GB and similar thing happened. Both devices run iOS 12.3.1. So, it seems that the "Other" space are caches that the iPhone clears if it needs space (even if there is still a lot of free space available) and we don't need to worry about it?

    Edit: I downloaded 5 more GB of files in several apps (not only the ones I mentioned above), the disk usage did not increase even by 0,1 GB and the "Other" section completely disappeared! So, I downloaded and stored a total of 17 GB but the free space on the phone was reduced only by 3 GB.

    CANNOT get my phone to send text messages to an android user.

    A family member of mine recently switched to a Samsung galaxy S10+, and I cannot for the life of me get a text message sent to him from my iPhone. The only thing that has worked so far is to ask siri to send a text message. I have "send as SMS" enabled in settings which should detect that the imessage wasn't delivered and then send it as a text, but it won't do it. I even tried turning off imessage but then I couldn't send anything at all. Anyone else has this problem?

    I should also not that they are receiving text messages from plenty of other iPhone users, including group message threads.

    EDIT: Issue has been resolved! After I pressed and held the sent message and hit "send to email address" they finally started sending as text messages for some reason!

    Help? I’m trying to restore iPhone from a backup, but iTunes is asking for a password. I never encrypted my backups, nor has it ever asked for a password before.

    Finding the app

    A far too frequent experience. Install a new app and then spend an age trying to find the icon so I can move it to the my home page. Oh yes I can search for it and find. Yes, look it's available as a complication on my watch. Finding the icon however is a like finding a needle in proverbial haystack. Endless scrolling through page after page (and yes I do also use groups) to no avail.

    For the love of Woz can we not find a way to solve this issue? I had a few thoughts:

    • Show the page the app in on in search results like it show groups.
    • Allow me to press and hold and drag it from the search panel to the page it to appear on,

    Is it just me? Am I missing something?

    Oh and while I'm ranting lets either put a search or allow sorting by name on the iPhone storage list of app.

    Drag and Drop Big Buttton Simple & Intuitive Music Player for iPhone?

    Is there a Drag and Drop music player that has a dead simple and large button interface, and specifically utilized on iPhone?

    I have music I don't desire on my iTunes library or computer, but would like to add to a device that will be able to simply drag and drop files into a app/player from removable storage.

    *Needs to be compatible with ios10 please

    It needs to have the largest button simplest interface possible, and hopefully with the option to "repeat shuffle" random tracks in a never ending loop.

    This is for a older person if that is not plainly obvious from the context.

    Strictly for music playback.

    Is there anything that might meet these requirements well?

    Any recommendations that will strictly be local storage on iOS and a dead simple no frills experience? Hopefully relatively devoid of any features other than those outlined so issues from poor touches don't accidentally happen.

    Might there be a better place to make a request for a specific app to play music like this that anyone knows
