| Suddenly All My Apple Devices Are Using A Long-forgotten Email Address Posted: 29 Jun 2018 09:57 PM PDT A couple weeks ago, my computer, two iPads, and my iPhone 8 suddenly defaulted to using an email address I haven't had or used in nearly 15 years. The account and the provider has been long dead, and I haven't seen that address in many years. But suddenly, it's front and center on all my devices. I don't even know where they were able to retrieve it from, why they did, and especially why they suddenly made it my main default address in my mail app. I've deleted it twice but it keeps re-emerging. Anyone have any ideas how this is happening and/or tips for fixing it? [link] [comments]  |

I screenshotted like ~20 to my phone, cropped them down so it's just the meme and not the Pinterest background. A day later, I come back to my pictures and all the memes have converted back to that initial screenshot instead of staying cropped. Me being the dumbass I am re-cropped them, and now today they went back to the original screenshot again. Help? [link] [comments]  |

I get her location share request (I know it's hers cause I was sitting next to her when she sent it) but it shows her name in Asian characters. Is this a know. It only appears when the screen is white or any light color. It is very noticeable so i was wondering if you guys have estimates for how much the repair would be at an apple store. | Posted: 29 Jun 2018 01:07 PM PDT Ok, I am stumped. Sometime yesterday my emoji keyboard got corrupted. If I touch the "world" icon on the keyboard to switch to the emoji keyboard, no matter what app I am in, the screen goes black and whatever app that's open crashes. I'm using iOS 11.4 on an iPhone 7+. I can't find any similar reports online. I have tried re-starting the phone and I actually wiped it and did an iCloud restore last night hoping that would help. I'd really not like to do a total wipe and fresh install. I haven't installed anything new recently that may have caused this. I handle the social media for our business and use emojis a lot to add personality to our replies. I really need them to work! I have a French keyboard installed as well as an English one. That works fine. The second I re-install the emoji keyboard I am back to the same problem. Once I delete the emoji keyboard, I can toggle between keyboards no problem. Any ideas? [link] [comments]  |

Load up music and all I can see music I have purchased through itunes. Plug phone into Macbook Pro and I can see the entire 80gb under itunes but when I double click to play I get a exclamation mark in a grey circle. I have an Iphone7+ that I was using previous to getting an 8, however the 8 has finally broken :(. The iphone 7+ was on a tmobile network, and I even transferred the card over to the new iphone on the same network, however if I put in a new tmobile sim into that iphone 7+ it says that the sim is not supported! I checked the IMEI just in case and it says its a tmobile iphone 7+ not blacklisted or anything. I took it into tmobile and they can't seem to figure out why it keeps saying that the sim is not supported. Can you guys please help me figure this one out? It is on the same network it was previously operating on, but it was itunes reset so maybe that had something to do with it? Do i need to try another itunes reset or what? [link] [comments]  |

I have a Gmail account, and when I send an email from my computer, the name shows up correctly as John Smith. I even downloaded the Gmail app for my phone, and when I send an email the name is correct as John Smith. But when I use the mail application which came with the phone, my name shows up as John Smmith. I tried looking in all the settings, but I cannot figure out how to correct this error. This is clearly an error with the mail application which came with the phone, since this error does not happen with the Gmail app, and it does not happen when using a web browser to access my email.
