    Welcome to our weekly stickied App thread! This is a new idea so please feel free to offer your feedback about this thread or the subreddit in general in the comments. As usual if you have a serious issue with the subreddit please contact the moderators directly.

    This thread is intended to help members of the /r/iphone community get informed about new apps that are out there. App developers may also use this thread to make users aware that their new app exists.

    Please sort comments by 'new' to find questions/information that would otherwise be buried.

    In this thread you can ask any iOS app related question that you may have. Anyone may offer advice on any issue.

    Two examples of potential questions could be; "How do I learn to code an app?", or "How is app pricing determined?"

    Developers, please include as much information about your app as possible, including size, price, release info, and anything else people request.

    Finally, please stick to reddiquette and keep your comments on topic and substantive. Thanks for participating.

    I turned off all the apps from siri&search to stop them continuously indexind data into spotlight search and my iPhone was at 99% after 36 minutes of usage and at 98% after 40mins. iOS 11.0.1, iPhone 7.

    Discovered and interesting use for Markup in iOS 11 to give wallpapers a splash of color.

    I was always bothered that the bottom home screen dock is usually just a flat plain color. Well there's an easy way to add a splash of color to the home screen. Using Markup, just add some splotches of color to the bottom of any photo using one of the markers. Then set it as the home screen wallpaper. Here's some examples: https://imgur.com/gallery/zuNWE

    Anyone else (iOS11, iPhone 8) have issues with the WiFi indicator/status being incorrect?

    Many is the time in this past week that I've glanced at my phone and seen the "LTE" indicator when WiFi strength indicators were expected (at home or in the office where WiFi is SOLID).

    Testing my connection with ipchicken.com to verify what my internet connectivity is going through shows me - yup, I'm still on the WiFi.
    If I toggle WiFi off in control center, I'm shown that I was just disconnected from Wifi -- toggle back on, and the WiFi strength indicators come back and all is well.

    This seems to be a bug - and I'm going to wager it's more iOS 11-related than the new phone.. but I don't really know for sure. Am I alone in noticing this?

    How many more years do you think the iPhone 6 design will continue for?

    Yes, I know they're using different materials and changing small things but the iPhone 6 and 8 share the same design.

    How long do you think it will be until there is no longer that design available to buy at the Apple store?

    I'm sure it will slowly turn into the budget range device but at this rate, I reckon it could survive for years.

    iPhone 8 - Difference between 12W vs 29W fast charging?

    I'm wondering if charging the iPhone 8 at 2.0A/14.5V (29W) is really faster than the 2.4A/5V (12W). If someone is able to share a website or a video that made that comparison will be nice :)

    Hello guys,

    In next month I would like to buy a new iphone. But Im wondering if I would pick ip8 64gb or ip7 128gb. Im bit scared of the new "most durable glass" on back of ip8. Otherwise it has new chip and all those new stuffs.

    So what do you think, is the new one worth it? Or I should take 7.

    What are my options here? I know all the info the the iTunes and iCloud accounts, can i go in through find my iphone and erase the device and reset without any problems, or is it more complicated then that?

    iPhone 6 on iOS 10.3 or 11, probably.
